Anyone know the Ricoh Arena, Coventry?

It's the new Coventry City football ground. Hooooooge. I've never been to a gig there, mind you.

Dunno about gigs, but I agree with FW that it is indeed hyooge. Conference facilities, casino (IIRC), gym, hotel on site, shopping centre next door.

Went there for a Sikh wedding reception. Over 700 people in a banqueting room on the top floor, which was about half the length of the pitch!

Thanks. According to the website it has a 32,000 capacity (compared to way more than that for Wembley or Millennium stadiums - which I've got standing tickets for already - I'm jsut deciding which to use and which to sell on)

I might try for seated tickets here and if not stick with what I've got.

Its just off Junction 2 of the M6, really easy to get too. Never been inside though.

I went to a football match there a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn't say it's huge though, not for a stadium concert. It would be more like going to the O2 than to Wembley Stadium. Personally I think it would make a good venue. You could be right at the back and still have a good view.

I know that the first game played there Coventry beat QPR 3-0. ☹️
