My Mum tried it a couple of years ago and found the side effects horrific to be honest. People will tell you as long as you eat a low fat diet you will be fine, Mum wasn't. Despite a low fat diet it got to the point where she wasn't able to leave the house as she had to be near a toilet. From what I understand, any fat in your diet and you will poo out red liquid fat (or it will just run out of its own accord ?).

My humble opinion is that increasing the amount of lean protein you eat would be just as, if not more, effective at increasing your weight loss.

    Hi,

Yes I am using Ali and for me it is great. I had 5 stone to loose when i got engaged in December and I am currently 3 lbs off loosing 4 stone with the help of Ali.

I have not had any side effects at all, however I have not cheated at all and eaten anything that I shouldn't whilst taking them (i.e more than 5g of fat per meal) You also need to diet and work out but I feel that it gives me that extra bit of motivtion at the gym as I will loose that little bit more for working hard.

    I hope that helps?

That's greatSmiley smile well done you! Amazing weight loss.

I was a bit dubious at first and terrified about the side effects, but, the doctor prescribed orilstat( the active ingredient in Alli, and two weeks in I've lost 6lbs. No scary side effects either! Feel loads better already!
