Anyone tried any of the other Jillian DVDs?

pandorasbox, 18 January, 2012 at 21:53 Posted on Beauty & Wellbeing 0 7

The 30 day shred (only on level 1 ? but will be trying the next one tomorrow) is really good but I find a little dull doing the same workout each day so was thinking of combining it with another. Wondered if anyone over here has any reccs for which one to do alongside?

I'm using The 30 Day Shred too, on day 2 of level 2 but I'm giving it a rest for a few days as my knee is playing up. I don't have any of her other dvd's but I have just today purchased The Biggest Loser for my xbox kinect. See how that goes!!

Excelleent thanks. Good luck! My friend is doing the abs one and has got the bum one so I may be able to try before I buy. Sounds killer though!

Well, I''ve finished work a bit early today and have just finished the abs dvd and....

It is a killer ? I found it much harder than 30DS. They do a lot of plank work, which I find hard as I have little upper body strength. The abs work is just what I needed though- pretty full on, I don't think 30DS does enough abs really. I moved up to level 2 on 30DS yesterday as I'd had enough of level 1, so maybe do that and see if you can borrow your mates abs DVD and see if you like it?

ETA: Sorry, just seen your other post that you are already on level 2! Get the abs DVD!!!

I find the plank stuff sooo hard. My friend has now started the bums one and said that was intense, she has lent me the metabolism one and another one so I plan to start 3 workouts per day now ? (yeah right! But I will try anyway...)

I'm currently on Day 15 of 30DS and am noticing a difference in my body shape.

I am going to do the 6 week, 6 pack when I've finished 5 days a week and that will take me upto 2 days before we fly out for our wedding. If 6 week 6 pack is as good as 30DS then i should be feeling and look good for my wedding/honeymoon. It is hard work but as they say.......no pain, no gain :-)

I have skipped a few days of 1 and 2 and now on 3rd day of level 3. Its hard but good, I can feel it working. Have lost a few pounds and my work trousers continue to get looser! I have been inspired to order a few of her others now so will let you know what they're like.

Thank you, well done on getting to Level 3.

I have 3 days left on Level 2 and Monday will see me move up to Level 3 and onto Day 21. Taking 2nd set of measurements Monday morning and hoping it's good enough to set me in a good mood for the week ahead as Sat 11th is my dress fitting.

Will aim to watch the six week six pack before starting so I know what I'm in for.
