Anyone use ebay for bridesmaid dresses, bargains?

Gbutterfly, 26 October, 2010 at 11:53 Posted on Planning 0 9

Hi, new to all this, recently engaged and with all the expense am out for a few bargains along the way. Has anyone used ebay for buying bridesmaid dresses or other things, and what was your experience?

I've spotted bridesmaid dresses for quite reasonable prices with a lot of choice, but am a bit wary and wondered if anyone else had used ebay?

I look on there ALOT and probably will, but at present my paypal account is empty so not been able to get anything. I order alot of my kids clothes from there and have never had a problem, I did in fact buy a bridesmaid dress a while ago for one of them and she loves it, however it was alot more yellow/cream when it arrived than ivory so my only advice would be to be wary about things like that.

    Hey,

3 of mine came frome ebay lastweek. The purple one shoulder chiffon dress with flower..£32.99 each and are FAB! Easily pay £150 for them in coast. The seller is chinese but based in Birmingham so returns would have been easy. Not sure i'd risk a china seller.

I got my 3 adult bridesmaids' dresses from ebay, all different sellers. I got them for around about £55 for all 3 inc postage. If I bought them in Coast they would have cost me £135 each!! Plus they are brand new. You have a number of rights as a buyer from Ebay so don't be afraid to say if something isn't as described. I got about £7 back off one of the dresses simply because it was described as being with straps and tags and when it came it had neither. Why pay over the odds when you don't have to?!

    Car. x

Ebay is fantastic. Just be sure to check the sellers feedback reports before bidding or buying. If they have good feedback...then you're good to go Smiley smile xx

I brought my bridesmaids dresses from ebay. All from one seller. I even got 3 as she had an 8,10+12 and i wasn't sure if my 2 bridesmaids would fit.

They were £80 for 3 but would of cost well over £150.

    Hiya!

I'm a self confessed Ebay addict lol and there are some great bargains to be had just be careful with reading the descriptions and checking feedback etc.

I got my wedding dress from Ebay, Essense D619 (think about £1100 in shops) it was brand new with tags on, £100!

Also had our invitations made by an Ebay shop at a good price, had my tiara handmade by an Ebayer and have generally bought a lot of bits and pieces, table decorations, beads, favour bags etc and all have been great. Also got one bridesmaid dress from Ebay and it is very nice.

    It's fun searching!Good luck x
