Anyone use Plusnet for Broadband?

We've been with them for about 3.5 years and never had a problem. A couple of colleagues recommended them to us so I'm guessing they were happy with them too.

We've been with them for about 5 years now and they have been ok. We even moved and they transferred the account very efficiently and promptly. We had a problem with getting the internet a few weeks ago and logged a fault with them and they were very quick to address it and kept sending email updates ( Luckily H can check his emails at work) but they gave us a free dial up conncection number while they investigated fault. As it happened it wasn't their problem it was ours our router/modem wasn't working properly. lol

We use them. Have been with them for prob about 8 years (H used to work for them, before we moved house and they were bought out) and they have always been very good. We did have a brief flirt with BT, but decided they were rubish so went back to PN. Not sure why PN is better than BT given they are owned by them but they most certainly are. Maybe H gets better treatment if we have a problem cos he still knows people there

My BIL works for them. They are owned by BT if that makes any difference - good business model so should be around for a while and are reliable.

I've never used them but a friend has and I don't think he had any problems with them.

We use them and they're fine, no probs at all.

I'd definitely recommend them. Been with them 3 years with no probs, including a house move, and parents have been with them several years longer also with no probs. (And my dad researches everything to the nth degree before choosing so he wouldn't have gone with them in the first place unless they were thought well of in the industry.)

Me, I do. they seem good. the only bugbear I have is that I find the allowance a bit meagre. I went to them as you did when I was on an economy drive.

the really good plus point though is the 24 hr customer service, which is in effect why I left my old ISP - eclipse - even though I liked them - because if things went belly up out of hours there was no one to talk to you

It must be just my dad thats having issues with them then. My parents just moved to a new place and was told by the Plusnet sales guy on the phone that broadband will be on the 9th, the 9th arrived and his modem hadn't even arrived so he called and they said, no he wont get it yet, they hadn't even started processing it yet and it would be another week. The salesman basically just told my dad a big fib. Hope it does go on soon.
