Anyone used Starlettos on your shoes before?

beckimas, 31 December, 2013 at 12:01 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi all, I am having a marquee reception in the garden of a manor house so originally thought I wanted to get wedge heels for my wedding shoes...but I can't find any pretty ones I like or the ones I do find are stupidly high with platforms as well which is not what I want. I want between 3-4 inch heel. I have found lots of shoes I love with stiletto heels and have just discovered Starlettos http://www.starlettos.co.uk/

Has anyone used these before? Or used another alternative to stop your heels sinking into the grass??

Thanks in advance.

We often recommend these to our brides, so useful if you'll be standing on grass for the photos, as it's easier to stay upright and also keeps your heels from getting muddy. An alternative is penny heels ?

I also had the same situation to you for my own wedding also. A marquee in manor house grounds... (Luckily my dad was the head gardener so didn't have to worry to much about the grass) but my mum found some heel stoppers in bhs for both mine and her shoes because she knew we'd be on the grass at some point and they worked wonders.

Admittedly they'd had it by about 6pm but that was okay as we had no need for more grass walking there after.

I'd say invest in a cheap pair off ebay or such like and give them a whirl in your own garden or something but I know they certainly stopped me from sinking!
