It was my hair trial this morning. have had my headband for aaaages and kept having wobbles, but have fallen in love with it again. got my veil up in london yesterday, and i am totally in love with it - i've got some detail on the back of my dress that i didn't want hidden so this length of veil is perfect, really cute. it'll be more wavy on the day, more hair will be taken from the sides to the back, and will be slightly neater where it is all pinned at the back. i didn't want anything sleek or smooth, just very rough and messy (there is *nothing* neat about me, which h2b will testify to....)

anyway here you go:

(bless the young girl in the hairdressers - she held up the gown so you could see the veil!)

so, whaddaya think?

Ah thanks everyone! ?

came home and let slip to h2b i would be wearing a veil, and don't think he was over the moon about it - sod it, for one bl00min day in my life i *am* going to do the traditional thing and wear a veil! when else do i have an excuse?!? ?

though saying that, no sooner had i got it to my parents then i put it on.... thank god it's still there otherwise i'd be wearing it now....

teehee - my mum commented in the hairdressers that she thought my hair was looking 'a bit orange'... i told her that was the whole point of dying my hair dark copper mahogany....

Thinking of doing something to mine before the wedding but don't know what yet. A few more weeks til my trial.

Veil is fabby too and the headpiece is stunning!

You have also helped me out, I wanted a veil that kind of length but have been reconsidering recently but now I know I was right the first time - short and cute all the way! so thanks!

ETA - I don;t suppose you know what length the veil is do you?

sarah-kay, sorry i have no idea of the length - 32 inch maybe? the ladies in the shop gave it some kind of special name, though for the life of me i can't remember what it is! i'll have a google and see if i can find out.

eta: actually theres no way it's 32 inch - more like 18 or 22. i've just seen some websites refer to it as shoulder length.

You look seriously great! The veil and headpiece are both perfect and suit you down to the ground (dunno where that phrase came from, lol, but you know what I mean)!
