Anyone watching 60 minute makeover?

I don't like the kitchen, it was fine before IMHO, just wanted some painting and decent flooring, it makes the kitchen look dark and gloomy, esp. where they're standing in the alcove.

I love that sort of kitchen in the right setting but I don't think this house is it.

I used to work with John Amabile 20 years ago!! He is a lovely guy. He had a girlfriend then and I had a crush on him ....

Was that the designer? I only caught the end. Everything looked really dark and the stripes in the living room hurt my eyes. I don't suppose it would have been easy to walk around the coffee table either [practical icon]

Yes - the Scottish guy. It was such a waste when he went over to the other side ..........

I think I would have killed my husband if I'd have come home to those stripes ....

I record this, watch the first 10 mins, then fast forward to after the snivelly bit to see what they've done to ruin yet another house. It really is car-crash themetastic makeoverama. I've never been able to take it seriously since the Hitcher's 60mm report.
