Anyone watching Black Mirror?

Big fan?

I have the first one taped but my brother said it was really depressing and sad and I've been miserable the past few days anyway so i have steered away!! I never saw any of the last series either.

I missed the last series, but so far this one has me completely gripped. Both have been sad, but really made me think about our modern lives, technology, media and so on. But nobody else I know has watched them so can't discuss with anyone!

Are we okay to discuss them? I don't want to get in trouble again for giving away spoilers.

Maybe not yet if people are waiting to watch. I preferred this week's to last is all I will say for now! More hard-hitting and I wasn't expecting what happened at all.

I am now picturing us trying to talk about it like when Joey tries to talk about 'The Shining' without spoilers for Rachel and says 'then he kills them all with the blank' and gives everything away ?

Shall we discuss last series then??

I was unaware of the last one so not yet! I do plan to catch up ASAP though so will be back to it. I just love CB so much I have no idea how I was so oblivious.

Edit - it's about £7 on Amazon so am ordering. I have just seen he co-wrote the second one with his wife. Remember last time we talked about him (weird crush thread) and wondered if she made him a happy bunny or he made her a raving sarcasmo? I think that might tell us something!

Last week's freaked me out a bit but my god, this week's!

I watched the last one with the Prime Minister and the Pig. It was horrible but enthralling at the same time.

I have sky plussed this series to watch at some point.

I missed all of last series despite constantly thinking that I wanted to watch it.

I watched the first one of this series and 'enjoyed' it. I put that in inverted commas because it was quite uncomfortable viewing. I didn't like the end - that was really weird.

I am going to download this weeks on iplayer if it's there.

I have missed these so far but have them taped to watch at some point. I watched the one last year about the prime minister and the pig copulating. Was brilliant, I thought both the writing and the actor playing the prime minister were superb, a real sense of hopelessness in the situation.

The question is: if you could save someones life by having sex with a pig on tv would you?? I'm not sure I could...

I missed the first series, can you still get it on Sky or anywhere else?

Ive really enjoyed them (last serier and the new series) they really make you think. Made OH watch the new series with me and i think he is weirded out by them.

Jeez, that White Bear one was mental.

I originally posted my thoughts and deleted after noticing a couple of unintentional spoilers!

I would say I enjoy them, but they make me feel slightly nervous and uncomfortable. But I just find it compulsive viewing!

White Bear made feel physically ill afterwards and did play on my mind that night :/

Very thought provoking though!
