Anyone wearing flip flops/flats?

Nicalf08, 4 May, 2012 at 08:40 Posted on Planning 0 10

Anyone at all ? I'm a shorty and am fine with that but I also can't walk about all day in heels so for the purpose of walking nicely and not trondling about I am wearing some 2-3 inch heels but I will want to wear flats later on if I can't take the heels anymore. So...is there anywhere that does flip flops with a little bit of height so I don't tred on my dress...preferably pretty ones?

They're pretty, I just want something fairly cheap and cheerful though really. Ooh I might check monsoon/accessorize!

I like converse, just thought I'd be a bit clumpy and wouldn't feel quite right when dancing?? I do love the personalised ones though, I designed a pair but didn't buy them in the end. How have you done yours?

I've fallen in love with these:

    http://www.evans.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33054&storeId=12553&productId=4575167&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=209435&parent_categoryId=&pageSize=24&refinements=Colour{1}~[neutral|white]&noOfRefinements=2

(they look better in the flesh, I think, very sparkly!) but I'm hoping I might be able to get them in the sell or an offer code before my wedding to bring the price down as they'd only be my 'back-up' evening shoes as have my ceremony/day shoes already! Although they'd be perfect to then take on honeymoon I guess!

Failing that, hoping to see what these are like in 'real-life' as they look quite nice for the price too!

I bought a very basic gold pair from Accesorize, in a tea length dress it was very important what was on show but I guess if you are full length you could wear pretty much anything?

I like your shoes MrsCoombs 2be.

I'm a shorty too. The trouble is my OH is a foot taller than me!

I never, ever wear heels & I'm not about to totter around all day on our big day but saw a bride wearing some funky Hush Puppy shoes on another website that are slightly clumpy & look quite comfy!!! They come in cream/white and a range of bright colours. I've noticed I could get these cheaper online but hoping to try some on in a shop & then order online. Cheeky I know but needs must...
