Anyone/Anyone's H a firefighter?

If so, do you/they have a 2nd job as well, and is this declared to the Inland Revenue? Just pondering as H is a firefighter and about to start doing a 2nd job and we wanted to know the tax implications

H's close friend is a black cab driver as well as a firefighter and he declares.

Listening to a radio programme in the car on Sunday night about tax returns. The onus is on you to declare your earnings not them to chase you for it. You are liable to fines / prision etc if you do not pay the tax due.

So of course you should pay tax and you have to declare it. Your risk if you do not.

The fire fighter bit is irrelevant if you are talking about tax as many people are having to do second jobs in this climate.
