Apps for wedding planning

Ice Queen, 29 September, 2012 at 12:22 Posted on Planning 0 10

Do any of you use phone / iPad apps for wedding planning? If so which ones?

Are there things you would like to have on an app that you can't currently find

Thanks Smiley laugh

I could never find one that did what I wanted it to do... so I used an excel spreadsheet instead!

I did have a wedding countdown ticker app on my phone though!

I should have designed one, would have made a fortune! ?

What would you have liked it to have done?

    Me third!

I have a wedding ticker app but that's it.

I think a guest list/RSVP app would be useful so you can check people off the list as soon as you hang up the phone no matter where you are.

I'm waiting for a Hitched app too. Meanwhile there is the Wedding UK App.

I use one called (funny enough) 'wedding planner for iPad'. It was not a free one and I can't remember how much it cost but I am finding it very good.

It gives you how much you have over/u derspent on your budget, how much money you have already spent andhow much is left to payout. Also all your guests, which are yours or h2b's or both, evening or day whether they have accepted or not and also a seating plan, does other stuff as well but can't remember. Also have the wedding countdown app.

There is also the wedding UK app which you can download to ipad/iphone or other android phones and its free. It gives you a wedding planner and a sort of directory for suppliers in and around your area. You can just search wedding UK app. Good luck.

It was a fair while ago now so there may well be better apps out there but I wanted something that I could add my savings into as and when I could, calculate the cost per head linked to my guest list, somewhere I could add in other costs and when they were due, somewhere I could link ideas (a bit like pinterest I suppose) and write notes on the go. Guests lists and rsvps etc. Probably a whole load more but I can't remember anymore!

The Wedding UK app is really good - loads you can do with it including planning seating arrangements, guestlists, keeping track of gifts, budgets, etc. I'd recommend it and it's free, even better!
