I'm March 2012 - about a month before you. What's your centrepiece disaster?

What have you got done so far and we might be able to fill in some gaps?

Well so far I have:-

Chosen my wedding dress, picked my b'maids & flower girls outfits, chose the mens suts, bought jars for my sweetie buffet, bought scoops and paper bags, bought organza bags for the sugared almonds, picked a venue and booked the church, chose a photographer and a dj, picked a colour scheme, chose invitations, picked the wedding breakfast meal.

Our budget is 4K and my parents are giving us 1K too, so we have 5K in total, so far we have spent well erm i duno lol!

my dress is 1k, the wedding reception venue, 3 course meal and evening buffet is 1.1k bmaids dresses 500, photographer 200, dj 90, we have to give a donation to church, so prob 250. Erm thats about it really x

Okay - I have sorted 2 cars a beauford and a 7 seater limo - 395, have sorted 4 tier cake for 100, flowers my aunty is paying for everything, veil i get to pick one free with my dress, i chose place cards, and i dont get the menu thing? Everyone is having same so surely i dont have to give it them in writing? :L

My friend is a proffesional hairdresser so she doing all of our hairs as wedding present and not even thought about rings lol xx

Hello date twin ? Splangford is another 20th April bride to be as well.

I'm rubbish, hardly done anything and gotten in to a bit of a rut, can't believe it's only about 8 and a half months to go now >_< I'll hopefully get my wedding mojo back once I've moved in to my new house though!

So far I've only...

- Booked venue, paid deposit and first installment

- Booked photographer, paid deposit

- Given notice

- Booked Registrars

- Got wedding insurance

Sooooo rubbish!! I need to get a move on...

Given notice of what? And hmmm i hadnt even thought of wedding insurance!! Oh dear! x

My name is shellie and im 23 (24 this sun, engagement party on sat woohoo)

I get married on the 27th april. so far i have:-booked and paid deposit on venue (having ceremony their too),

- Booked car

- booked and paid for photographer

- bought dress and shoes

- booked cake

- almost finished making invites

-have save the dates ready to hand out at the weekend

Still plenty to do!

That's exactly what I keep thinking, argh!! I am excited, but a bit nervous that I've done so little and time seems to be running away. Things should be better once I've moved house though, I can concentrate more on the wedding then!

Given notice of our intent to marry, I don't think you have to do that if you're having a church ceremony though.

I didn't think about wedding insurance at first, but considering how much our wedding is going to cost us, we thought it'd be best to just in case.

You have to go and register your marriage. If you ask the minister or the person doing your civil ceremony they will explain it. You need to register if you are having a church service although some church services read banns instead

Ooooh okay, yeh we are getting married in my parish church, will have to have a word with the priest!

Well i bought little discussion cards and where having a sweetie buffet so everyone will get a favor with sugared almonds then get a pink and white candy bag to get themselves a pick n mix!

Theres three of us date twins triplets now! Is is coming around very quickly, I feel the weeks are flying by but theres still plenty of time to get organised do not fear!

We've got alot of things booked, starting to think about table decoration at the moment, but still got quite alot to sort out. Plenty of time, once christmas is over it will be time to panic!!

booked ceremony and reception (same place)

Bought my dress

Got bridesmaid dress fabric and pattern (mum is making the MOH dress) buying 2 flower girls dresses though.

Booked TOG and paid deposit

Sorted hair (just need to decide style ) im a hairdresser lol

Mums making my cake (just need to decide what style)

still got loads to do and panicing a bit now.

No panicking allowed!! We can panic if we've only done the same amount of things come 1st Jan 2012!! ?
