April 2013 brides?

Yep me! And I am the day before you, on Friday 12th

Yay! How much have you organised so far, I've just done a thread about being unorganised. Need to start getting things sorted! Where you getting married? X

I'm Gurzle's date twin! All we've done so far is book the venue & registrar and I've found my dress. We're buying loads of kilner jars for centrepieces and I've started making heart shaped table scatters. Photographer is the next big thing!

I've done a fair bit I think - more than I need to though, so don't let it worry you...

Still got lots left to do, DJ, transport, sort out rates with a local hotel, BM dresses, suits, book make up artist and hair stylist, sort out where we're going to stay before and after etc, but so far so good I think!

WeRe date twins! I have the church and the venue done ! I really need to pull my finger out! Everyone seems to have so much more done than me!

Flowergirl dresses bought (30% off in the sales and they were the ones I wanted!)

Wedding dress ordered

Save the dates sent out yesterday

Table centrepieces bought - new shop opened in town and they had 30% off all weekend of opening so I got my ventrepieces for £8 each!

Thats about it so far. Trying not to do too much too soon as I dont want to rush it xx

Ooh yay, theres a few of us then! Eek.. think i need to start organising a few bits. All ive done is book venue, sort photographer, and put deposit on my dress, then been at a standstill since then! Got to go in august to be measured and actually order my dress. Need to get save the dates sorted next and then get some bits together as im hoping to make a few bits x

I am getting married on 20 April 2013!

So far we have booked our venue and the church but that is all! Our wedding breakfast etc is at The Barn at Bury Court in Farnham http://www.burycourtbarn.co.uk/

We have a friend doing our photographs (capturedbyjames.co.uk )and my o/h works in Moss Bross so the suits will be sorted easy peasy

We have decided that we are going to have small bags of homemade (not by us!) fudge as favours and we have decided that we want a sweetie table and a band but not actually booked anything yet. We have also thought about our invites as we are making those and all other stationary ourselves.

I want a sample sale/second hand dress so not worrying about shopping for a while plus I want to shift a dress size by then!

Lots of you seem to have loads done already! I feel a bit behind lol

Mines the 27th April. I've chosen the dress, had a fitting and now waiting for it to be made. Reception provisionally booked, fiances' sister is doing the cake and favours, dj booked and photographer chosen. Things left to do are: Honeymoon, bridesmaids dresses, wedding list, where to stay after the wedding,hair and my fiance is going to buy his outfit and the Best men himself. What have I let myself in for????? On the upside one of his Best men wives' will be going to make sure they get the right outfits.

My daughter gets married on the 4th of April.

We have the venue, tog and DJ (and it's not me!) To me they are the major things that get booked early and can cause disappointment so they're done with deposits paid.

Dress - waiting on the swatches then we'll get it ordered. We're in a quandry about ivory or champagne!

I have finally done something weddingy! I've now booked tog, a vintage double decker bus, and a bagpiper! Im all excited now can't wait for h2b to get paid now to book more!

It's my OH who wants one! Going to book photo booth and dj when he's paid and go look at some rings! We can finally get moving with wedding stuff now I'm back at work! X

Wow, you guys are organised. Im hoping to be an April 2013 bride, but havent even got a venue yet, so we'll have to wait and see!

The only input my oh has had so far, is that he wants their to be a chocolate fountain! X

Everything i suggest he is like that's tacky! Lol!

We have figured out colors, a venue. I am so excited..I love our venue. We weren't really planning on an outdoor wedding, but it may happen depending on the weather. Just consider all the time you have to plan!! Time will go by so quickly! We will be engaged for a little over a year when we get married, and already time has flown by so quickly!

This thread excites me! I'm 13th April too! I have my dress, and we made arrangements with the Priest on Saturday so the church is sorted. We know which venue we want but it doesn't open until the end of April this year so we're holding off paying the deposit until we've seen it completed! Otherwise I know which ring I want to match my engagement ring and generally doing research into bm dresses. Hopefully oh's mum is doing our cake otherwise it'll be M&S and we're got a friend lined up for photos... Lots of ideas and provisional bookings but not alot actually finalised! Loving the planning so far though! x

Plannings' the best part isn't it (and of course the wedding)!! I've just called a wedding car hire company and have been told that the car I want is available for me next year ?. I've go to go and see the car beforehand just to make sure everythings ok with it. Can't wait to be honest!! I've got 4 bridesmaids and 1 flowergirl-the youngest is 3 and the oldest will be 16-will be glad when i've found a shop/s they can can buy the dresses in so thats one less thing to do. They all live far away-2 in Northampton, 1 in wiltshire and 2 in Surrey.

Yay another date twin! I wish I had my dress can't find anything I like!

I'm 6th April 2013! Got venue and registrar booked, going to see a tog next week (wasn't even sure we wanted one to begin with but people on here said I would really regret it if we didn't, so going to see one!).

I have bought table crystals, social stirrers, evening invites, flower girl dress, groomsmen socks and cufflinks, bridesmaid gifts and my day time shoes.

I still have a long list of things to get and need to decide on what table decorations I want etc..

Can't believe that after this month, we can say 'we get married in less than a year' ?

I'm alL depressed today spoke to the venue and we can't have a double decker bus won't fit under the bridge silly bridge so were having a single decker instead still beautiful but it's not what I had my heart set on! And they won't allow fireworks which I wanted to book in secret as a surprise for OH !

oh well it's not the end of the world will have to think of another surprise for him?

Yay, my date is finally confirmed, 20th April 2013 ? Looks like I have a few date twins! So far I have:

So exciting, we can all now say it's less than a year! ?

I still haven't done any extra just booked venue, caterers, and church. Friend is our tog so have in theory booked him as well!

Now on the lose weight to go dress shopping campaign!
