April 2013 Brides - what do you still need to do?

Aagh so exciting!! We're so close! Still to do - make Order of Service, make quiz cards, make table plan, order cake, order buttonholes (they're being designed, I just need to confirm it) figure out what songs we are going to sing at the service, make and fill favour boxes, dress fitting!

I'm a little later than you, I'm 13th!

Hi ... I know! Its a little bit scary its getting so close but so excited! I need to print out and put together the order of the days and the menus, fill favour boxes, dress alterations, and I need to dcside on my something old etc! ?

Sort a children's entertainer, sort table plan, place names, food tasting, decorations, shoes, jewellery, thank you gifts... Sure there is more :/

The weeks are flying by so quickly .. I keep worrying I have missed something! ?

Hi! H2B and I made the mistake yesterday of writing a list of things we need to buy/make/confirm/do before our wedding (20th April) and it came to 124 things! It was quite scary but has given me the motivation to get on with the planning! The main things though are to book chair covers/ table linen, book hair and make up person and find someone to steam my wedding dress as it is quite creased as it was posted to me! I can't believe how fast it is coming around now! Hope everyone else is doing well with the planning x

That’s what we just did, we didn’t have 124 things though! It was more like 20ish! We’ve sorted out table plan (although can’t actually make the thing until everyone’s formally RSVP’d, just in case) and yesterday bought a ton of Thorntons to fill the favour boxes

I sat and went through all our photos for the slideshow last night, so just need to put that on a memory stick to go onto the plasma at the venue, then I’ve got my hair trial in two weeks so looking forward to that!

Literally every weekend we’re doing something else wedding-y and ticking things off the list.

Oooh and our banns are being read next month so that’s very exciting! Then it’s off to VEGAS in March for Le Bachelorette Partay! Excited much!

Hi April brides!

I am 20th April, and I have the following left:

- order mirror for table pln

- do table plan and name cards

- order of service

- thank you gifts for parents

- hair trial, it is booked for 3 weeks time!

Um, I can't think of anything else, but I am certain I have missed things...! It does worry me!

Only 3 months to go!

I am so glad I dont have 124 things left to do ... I would be so stressed! I want to sit down at the weekend and do table plan and get the music finalised for the ceremony. Its so exciting and is all I can think abiout! x

I've still got loads to do!! But after handing in my masters dissertation yesterday I can finally concentrate properly on the wedding! (and catch up on school work but that's not nearly as exciting!)

Off the top of my head we need to:

Finalise flowers

Sort table centre pieces

Poss children's entertainer

Thank you presents

Belt & pashminas for bridesmaids

Hair trial - and see if she can do BMs too or if I need to get someone else (hairdresser is also a friend so she needs to get herself ready too!)Choose hymns & readings

Order of service

Table plans

Order favours (know what we're having though!)

Oooh and food & wine tasting (excited about that bit!)

I'm sure there's probably more - I'd need to consult my very lengthy list!

We are 20th April - I think if I sat down and wrote it a list it would be closer to the 124 than the 20!! I would love it if you could share your 124 long list as that might give me a clue what I am missing!

We are still trying to get our invites out let alone doing the table plan eeek. Hoping to have invites out by end of the month which should be fine time-wise.
