So Im getting married 18th April (I know how weird to say we are getting married next month!)

Im feeling really excited and also very stress free and calm. Most things are organised its just seeing everyone again and finalising the plans.

Hows everyone else feeling? Is thee anything you have relaised you have forgotten as I feel that most of my big things are done but am worried i might be missing some of the smaller bits?

Look forward to hearing from you lovely brides to be xxx

Eek so you get married Good Friday? We get married on Easter Monday! Loving all the Easter brides :-) I have recently ticked the last two big things which were OH's suit and our ceremony vows, music and readings. I think the main things left now are flowers and cake. SIL is a florist so we are taking her to Covent Garden flower market a couple of days before but got them all picked out , also other SIL and MIL are making the cake so going over designs and ideas with them next weekend :-) Got page boy suits picked, ordering them soon and got thank you presents and guest book picked out just got to order. Then it's just doing seating plan, table names and putting the rest of the music for the day on CD eek!!!

Welcome to Hitched!! Your the week after us, super exciting. I think it's the smaller things that I will forget too. I have a list of my phone that's handy to tick off as we go.

Is anyone else having wedding dreams yet? I've had 2 in a row this week and last nights was horrible!! The photographer and videographer didn't turn up, the flowers were the wrong colour and I had a panic attack at the point of walking down the aisle, could be a sign, ha ha !! Just can't seem to switch off from it at the moment.

Morning to all of us getting married next month Smiley laugh

So this afternoon i'm having my first make up trial (nothing like leaving it to the last minute), the girl uses bare minerals so fingers crossed it goes well as i'm finding it tricky to get a suitable time in for another trial with another girl who uses airbrush. I have an inkling i'll be spending a lot of time on the train traveling to and from London/Essex over the next few weeks!

On Saturday we're finally sitting down with the planner at the venue, we've only met her once when we had a 5 minute whistle stop tour of the venue when we went to have a look around. Tonight me and the boy need to sit down and work out how much extra wine we're buying for the tables, extra prosecco for toasting etc. Whether or not to can the canapes (we've gone way over budget!), what we've paying for in terms of drinks after the ceremony before the meal Smiley atonished It's all gone ahhhhh ££! Can't wait to get the money out of my account though.

Then I think the only other bits and pieces we need to sort are the readings (registrar is chasing), seating plan to display, I still haven't had a quote from my hairdresser (or had the trial but it's booked in!), underwear, flat shoes for when we go across to the beach for photos (no way my choo's are touching sand, might just bust out an old pair of havianna's), earrings (can't get until I know what i'm doing with hair - same applies for pretty hair combs etc), menus need to write up for tables, order of service (can't print until we've picked readings), cars, and speak to the florist to get her to deliver my mum a massive bouquet the morning of the wedding to say thanks!

That's all doable before the 4th April right?! Smiley laugh

    I bet I've forgotten something......................

5 Weeks to go.. We picked up our wedding rings today - going to have to get OH to hide them somewhere, I keep getting the box out and looking.

The band is chasing us for first dance and other information like what to and not to play.

Sent the service we have written to our celebrant (my Uncle!) today.

Still not decided on music for the processional and recessional...! I'm starting to think it will be done in silence, we really can't agree.

Visiting the venue next Sunday to agree on the final few things..

Still quite a lot to do - but getting there and SUPER excited.

    Evening April brides!

Have hair trial, buy jewellery for bridesmaids/flower girl/and myself, choose a reading for the ceremony, do table plan, dj list.

3 weeks till hen do! Fancy dress costume ordered today Smiley winking

7 more Saturdays to get our stuff together! fingers crossed for sunshine on the 26th getting married at a seafront hotel!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend xx

I've had a couple as well - I dreamt my mum shouted at me to walk down the aisle even though it wasn't time to go, and when I got to the alter I realised the church was empty because no-one had arrived yet. Combination of bossy mum and a lot of invite drop outs I think! Five weeks and one day to go...

Hen do, done!! Had a lovely evening, didn't stop laughing from the moment I arrived, was suffering for it Sunday mind!! Butlers in the buff, cocktail making, nibbles, drinks and lots of dancing!

These poor chaps had to get involved in the game of best wedding dress made out of doilies & toilet roll!! So funny.

The work girls have made me a count down above my desk, 30 days to go!!!!!!!!

Love the toilet paper wedding dresses! What a fab idea....

I'm off on my hen thing tomorrow which is really just a tame lunch so my mum can come along.

Thought everything was going fab until......... our wedding rings got delivered to the wrong address, the hotel cancelled all of our rooms to take a block corporate booking instead and my mum has thrown her toys out of the pram on the table plan..... apart from the table plan all sorted now and can't believe there's only 22 days to go!!! What am I going to do with my time afterwards?? What are me and OH going to talk about?!

Oooops, sorry didn't mean to scare people!! We're not actually getting married at the hotel but as our venue doesn't have any accommodation we were all (about 30 rooms of us) staying there. All sorted now though, they've moved us to a nicer hotel up the road at the same rate Smiley smile

    Four weeks tomorrow ?

My wedding dress is all finished Smiley laugh

Hen do is next weekend, v excited about the plans, but sadly this weekend I'll be distracted by writing an assessment for most of it! The to do list is gradually getting ticked off, so I'm not too worried or stressed at the moment. I probably shouldn't say that..

4 weeks today for me, most things are ticking along nicely.

Am having a bit of a drama about waistcoats and ties, but I'm off to appeal for help.

I feel the same, no motivation today at all?! 4 weeks tomorrow for us, feeling a bit meh and have no reason at all!! Decided to add canapés for guests on arrival, we had a bit of spare money left and worried that if it's a lovely day (weather wise) we would take a while for photos so it will give our guests something to nibble on Smiley smile struggling with the diet too!!!

Thank to the wonderfulness of Hitched I have solved my waistcoat and tie problem.

Today I am going to print reading onto posh paper and then back them onto yellow card so that they are all ready to go.

I'm also planning to actually make my table plan.

My children are out with Granny until 4, so I should have plenty of time to getthese things done and ticked off the list.

Hope you have fun at the weekend Smiley smile

I thought we were pretty much all set, but all of a sudden i'm finding lots of little jobs that need doing! Will be glad when everything is sorted and we can relax.

What kind of little jobs? I'm on a total go slow at the moment, partly due to coming off night shifts and being a bit zombified, partly because I keep telling myself I've got loads of time even though I really haven't. I know I'm probably missing something really obvious but I can't think of what things I could be getting out of the way at the moment.

I wanted to add the guests to the table plan (the table plan has been ready for weeks but no names on it) but I can't so that until we know for sure that 3 people are going to make it back to the country! I could at least start writing place cards I suppose...

Mooshy - The little jobs have been things like:

Buying a clear gold umbrella in case of rain…!

    Kids activity books

    Sweets

    Finalising favours

    Hair accessories

    Chalkboards/pens

    Disposable cameras

    Altar decorations

    Table plan

Deciding on what photos we want taking

…just lots of little things that need buying that we didn't bother with until now because individually it's not much, but actually they're all important things! We've been quite productive this week so panic over!

Today the waistcoats and ties have been delivered. The seamstress has confirmed that she can remove the sash on my fg's dresses and replace them with yellow.

on a non wedding front, I have completed my vat return, that's a massive job off my list!!!

And my dil has had my little baby nephew, so I have spent a couple of hours buying super cute baby things and visiting her. The good thing about this is as baby has arrived 22 days early they can defiantly come to the wedding!!!

Allo April ladies!! It's coming around quick right?! I'm two weeks tomorrow and feeling positively calm about the whole thing! Smiley laugh It's a good place to be after all the tears (and tantrums) over the last year!

I had my dress fitting and alterations completed today, I absolutely love my dress and didn't want to take it off - it's so comfortable and feel a million dollars even though I haven't been sleeping and looked a mess thanks to no sleep and mega bad roots! Fingers crossed i'll clean up ok for the wedding Smiley laugh I'm getting my hair done tomorrow with my trial, yay!

I've also got a few jobs left to do....none of them that taxing...

    1) Cars - think i'm just going to book cabs, one for bridemaids and mum and then one for me and dad (I don't drive so have no interest!)

    2) Seating plan - the one to go on the easel for guests to use on the day

    3) After the hair trial see if I need to buy a sparkly comb or anything for m'fro!

    4) Print order of services

    5) Buy earrings - will pop to Swarovski when i'm back at work next week

    6) Pay photographer

    7) Have the 'flicks' eye lash trial

    8) Buy crackers for the 'cheese cake' - literally cannot wait for this, the cheese samples were divvvvvine!

    9) Buy PJ's for wedding night

    10) Music playlists

    All achievable Smiley laugh

So question is, ARE WE ALL EXCITED?! Smiley laugh

Who's started checking the weather forecasts? xxx
