Ardencote Manor - Warwickshire

Sondy, 18 August, 2015 at 16:44 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hello,

I was wondering whether anybody on here as married at Ardencote Manor or attended a wedding there! We're booked for next August but due to geographical difficulties (I actually live in Newcastle!) have only visited once on a weeknight evening- we're getting married/ having reception in the Palms Conservatory and having the drinks reception outside in the rose garden.

I've been frantically scouring the internet for recent photographs and experiences. So far we have most big things booked and I'd now like to focus on little touches to make it special. Also considering a photobooth but have a very limited budget. When I visited, the conservatory seemed rather small - I don't want things too be too cramped. Also considering putting boardgames in the library room next door for those who want a breather.

Any contributions would be really appreciated? Thank you!

My friends getting married there next year I'll ask them about it for you!

EDIT: My friend said the following:

It was nice and airy! They hold two weddings at once at that hotel, but the two sides are completely seperate and they keep it v seperate. Theis an outside section is nice and it can hold a few things, although it does depend on which side you are on I have only seen one. However it is so lovely and you could fit a photobooth in there somewhere or you could make your own one to save money and space.

Thanks so much for asking your friend for me !Smiley smile That's really helpful. I was a bit gutted they don't allow fireworks or sparklers. Looking for ways of making it really special (groom is desperate for a churros stand for our drinks reception but not sure if they'd allow)

I had my hen do here, we saw a couple of weddings going on. It's a beautiful place, the grounds are lovely. Regarding board games, there were lots piled up in the Brasserie while we were there, you could ask the venue if you could use there's.

    Hi
We have provided a number of our services at Ardencote Manor before.

We have provided the disco & band, dance floor (albeit on top of the one that is already there) moodlighting (not much point in August as it stays light until quite late) plus a few other bits.
The photo booth does work very well in the library as it gives people another option if they are not big party people.

There is plenty of space in the conservatory so no need to worry about that.

I have got a couple of videos of our lighting in action there but probably won't help too much.

If there is anything specific you are thinking of having or looking for a quote for then please feel free to pop us message on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/greenclawsentertainment

or send me and email - ******@**********.**.**

Many thanks! I'll check out your Facebook page - we have already booked a DJ but will see if there are any other bits and pieces. Didn't think about the photobooth in the library - great idea Smiley smile
