I got my OH some "Groom" socks to wear on the day (got these for my dad and the best man too). I also got him this book and wrote in it all about our relationship etc - it's a bit soppy but a lovely thing to be able to keep.

The honeymoon trip sounds amazing. I don't think you necessarily need to get him something for the morning of the wedding - perhaps write him a card and in there you could tell him about the trip?

I bought mine a nice watch as he didn't have one. I also embroidered a hanky with our wedding date for him to keep in his pocket as we'd joked about him crying!

I am thinking of sending him a Mug with groom or husband on with a coffee sachet and miniature whiskey to have on the morning. I would LOVE to get him a watch and it is a possibility still.

I've got my OH a few daft bits.... I Do socks, a 4 leaf clover charm, a single shot engraved hip flask etc- lots of bits to make up a marriage survival kit. But up until today, I didn't know what meaningful thing to get. Then it dawned on me- we have a digital photo frame which we have never used, so I'm going to upload it with pics of our life together so far, with the last one being a 24hours to go photo of myself holding a message sign. I think he will really like that :0)

Goodness sake Funky, I married him, didn't I? Plus I told him about a week before the wedding. Plus, I had other things to think about and plan, like losing my virginity and stuff

I don't think so; perhaps put something in a card to say what you've done?

Don't feel like you have to do anything though if he's that much of a pain to buy for. We've both agreed we're not doing presents- spent enough money on the bl**dy wedding itself- we're both too brassic to start buying presents for each other too!

I'm thinking of getting OH an underwater camera. Our honeymoon is going to be full of him snorkelling and last time we did a snorkelling holiday he commented how he wished he had a camera to take photos underwater. We do need a camera too so if it does both then hey presto...

What do you think? Its not really 'wedding-y' but its the only time I'd buy a random present for him at that price! Ha! Poor thing, I mean that in the nicest way, if I had the money to buy random presents regularly then I would!

I'd like to get my OH a pocket watch to wear on the day, sloppy part of me thinks it would be lovely to have as something to pass down to our kids.

Will probably get him a few little jokey/smaller gifts too.

My OH plays the guitar, he's mad on them. I saw a silver plectrum years ago in a magazine which you can still get so I'm planning on getting him that with the date on and maybe some lyrics to Friday I'm in love on it as we're hoping to get married on a Friday and its kind of our song,

P and I decided we didn't want to go all out on wedding gifts so we'd keep it to something small. He got me some Christian Dior nail polish which I LOVE and I got him some L'Occitane shaving foam which matches his post shave moisturiser. The silly sod then lost the lid but put it in his backpack side pocket anyway and then wondered why it foamed all over the place! ?

Oh, and we wrote each other cards. His card to me was better than anything he could have gotten me, such lovely words which I have kept all to myself ❤️

I'm surprising my OH with a car to take him to the venue, rather than the best man driving. Its a 60 year old Jag. He isn't usually into having the fuss and keeps saying the day is all about the bride, so will be a nice surprise on the morning when he goes to leave the house!

Will also get some bits and pieces for him to open on the morning x

My Doctor Who crazy lady is getting a t-shirt from me to wear while we're getting ready: https://www.gamestop.eu/

Her son's dad is very nicely keeping it safe for me (to avoid me spending more than the t-shirt actually costs on shipping it to my house!), and she'll absolutely love it.

Other than that, nope. We're getting shiny new wives, after all.

I am getting my OH an engraved hip flask. He says he will probably be that nervous he will want something to calm him. Just got to think of something nice to put on it

I'm doing a cross-stitch for my OH - the Me To You bears as a bride & groom with our names and wedding date on it. I love the idea about a digital photo frame loaded with pictures of the two of you too!
