I give in - I have absolutely no idea what to get the Baroness for Christmas. Budget is under £50 (why did I agree to that ?). No jewellery as she had diamond studs for her birthday, no makeup and no clothes (I'll just get that wrong). She had ballet tickets last year so that's out too. Help! And...

Help! And apologies in advance for dismissing all your very sensible suggestions for seemingly spurious reasons ?

I can't wear cashmere because it itches. Gloves might be okay though ?

I think I pretty much just don't like jumpers, whatever the material. However, I do have that odd sleeve hating thing going on, so that could just be me.

    I picture this

when I think of jumpers, and cashmere

Anything hairy makes me itch, Lou ☹️ I am a cotton-only girl.

Tell me more about these alpacas though, I'm intrigued. Are they like llamas?

Her mistake is the shirt. My experience of cashmere v-necks (without shirt) is simply that they make people look at your tits a lot 😆

Lois, do you not get cold with no jumper and no sleeves?

Oh, you must get her a Silkskin pillowcase! I swear by mine and she will love you for it, especially if she takes good care of her skin and hair:

    /shop/

Also, talking of cashmere.. I love my cashemere socks, especially when I am flying long haul!

Pehaps somehing fron an antique shop - I've asked Mr RP for an antique jewellery box (walnut) you can get them for £50, but many are nearer £100. Antique music box, first edition of a favourite book. Mix cd for the car as a personal extra?...
