aromatherapy oils

Thinking of getting some of these for use in the bath. Those of you that use them: Are they okay for sensitive skin? Which would you recommend?

Mandarin is (or at least used to be - I haven't done aromatherapy for a few years) very gentle and lavender is lovely and relaxing. The best thing to do with all oils is to run a few drops of the oil under the tap with a blob of relatively scent free bubble bath or shower gel to help distribute the oil. It's worth a google to find a suggested number of drops for baths. It's better to start with a low number and increase slightly rather than the other way round.

My favourites are bergamot, lavender and black pepper together.

Amphora oils is a good place to buy and probably good for some tips or FAQs too.

I use lavender, bergamot, geranium, jasmine. I would be careful with mandarin if your skin is sensitive. I have sensitive skin and can't use this one in the bath as I get a reaction with it .

Thanks both of you. I will have a look at that website.

Sorry for bumping this super old thread, but I'm glad that I've found it. I have a sensitive skin. Also, I'm pregnant. That's why I worry a little bit. Though I prefer using natural ways of treatment than taking medications right now. Does anyone else use essential oils being pregnant? Can you share your experience?
