Bah, I missed a delivery so they have left it with a neighbour. The reason I know this is that I got an email off the company I ordered from telling me this. DHL didn't deign to leave me a note telling me which neighbour and when I called they gave me a choice of 10, 14 or across the road... so effectively (what they think) pointing out the numbers of my neighbours, because I am evidentally to thick to work out what number houses are next to me. Is it so much trouble for them to write out a "we missed you form" and shove it through my door telling me what house my wall paper is in?! I mean if it wasn't for the company emailing me I wouldn't even know it had been delivered.

gah.

That's ridiculous - if none of your neighbours admit to having it, what are they going to do?

I don't know although I would hope they will be funding a replacement as it wasn't cheap ?. I will be sending Mr P on the hunt for it tonight. We have their surname too but fat lot of good as we only know next door (and we know they don't have it as they aren't in in the day).

Could you have a look in the phone book if you know the surname?

You have my sympathy, I phoned a mail order co a while ago to accuse them of not posting something when a week after it should have arrived, no sign. According to their records DHL had left it with some people about 5 doors away but of course hadn't left me a card. Gits.
