Artificial Flower HIBs

Figs, 15 January, 2012 at 20:19 Posted on Planning 0 10

Hi

I'm having a bit of a nightmare with my florist as she is refusing to confirm whether she will be able to get the type of orchid that I want (the wedding is abroad and flowers will be imported...but apparently she can't guarantee that the correct flowers will be imported until they arrive...) Anyway, I'm now thinking that if I can't be guaranteed what I want from a real florist then artifical flowers will at least ensure that there are no nasty surprises on the day...

So, I'm looking for a round bouquet made of white cymbidium orchids with a bright pink centre. Kind of like this (but not including the second type of orchid pictured) :

Can any HIBs please help?? xx

Eeeep can I join you search for artificial flowers?! Any HIBs who can help the OP, can you also help me? I would like a bouquet of creamy/ivory tulips. Just tulips, with the stem partially bound with ivory organza, but with some fresh green of the stems poking out the bottom. I hope some HIBs come to our assistance Smiley winking

Another one seriously considering artificial flowers. We are travelling up to our venue a day or so before, then back home after two days there then reception once we are back and I would like to have my flowers for the reception so I think my only option is silk

I am having artificial flowers for my wedding, due to mine and OH's allergies! I have however bought some lovely cala lillies from Hobbycraft which look very very real.

I have been recommended to a place in Birmingham Called Blooms before, although I have just tried to google them and can't find them, but I have seen some of their work, which look great! I have also seen; http://www.sarahsflowers.co.uk/ recommended before, although I am not sure how good they are.

    Good luck!!

Both Sherrie at 'aislebeyours' and rainbow florist are fantastic HIBS on here. I have bought my silk artificial bouquets and button holes from Sherrie and they are stunning!!

Hi - Feel free to have a look at my website, details below. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I am fully booked until the end of August this year though. If you would like a brochure and a pricelist for 2013, just let me know. Thanks Kate too! Brenda x

I can totally recommend Brenda/Rainbow Florist. She made me a gorgeous window arrangement and I still have it in my living room 2 years on! I'm sure my neighbours must think I have no inspiration to change it but it's because I love it so much.

Hi v got a lot of flowers from decoflora website. Also have got a lot from Boarhunt flower mill in hampshire (not sure where you are) but they do have a website. I have made my arrangements and bouquets myself but i think both websites do arrangements as well. Hope this helps!

Not too sure as I don't know what your real name is...? Did you send it via Hitched or to my email address? Sometimes the Hitched email system doesn't work unfortunately. I don't have any emails outstanding so would you be able to re-send it to my address and I'll answer you from that instead?
