Ohh I am another Mexico Excellence Hotel honeymooner - however we're going to the quieter one in Playa Mujeres!

We've also booked the swim up suites - they look awesome!

Oooh my work friend has just returned yesterday from that hotel, they had amazing time! Yer the excellence hotels look lovely, and get some get reviews!

Yep they really do get some fab reviews - even the americans don't moan too much!

I cannot wait to see that Swim up room (apparently they are the same for all Excellence resorts) - have to let me know as you'll be there before us!

Mexico is AMAZING! Don't stay at the beach all the time tho (too easy too though!) Must-visits are Tulum, Coba and Xel-Ha water park - just WOW! x

Ah thanks! Yer we'll prob do a week on beach and a week out and about doing trips etc. Hoping to swim with dophins. Has anyone ever flown to Cancun with thomas cook by any chance?

Wow everyone is picking Mexico!!

We booked ours abotu a month ago though we are going to Excellence Playa Mujeres!

We had a toss up between the swim up rooms and the roof top pool rooms and went for the roof top pool room but allt he rooms look amazing!! After spending months looking at honeymoons in the maldives that were majorly expensive we found mexico and instantly knew it was the one for us!!

SarB thats spooky we looked loads at Maldives too! Mexico was much better value for money tho. The weather in maldives worried me at time of year we'd be going.

Absoloutely I had had some ridiculous quotes for honeymoons in the maldives that were 9k plus and we dont have that much money!! I completely agree Mexico is such good value and looks amazing!!!
