Aug 2012 Brides!!

Four motnhs tomorrow and starting to panic slightly! God knows why we thought it was a good idea to buy a house which is ready in July, get married in August, all with an 18 month old!

I still feel like I have loads to do, how about you?!

This is my first post, i'm enjoying nosing around at other peoples ideas.

Getting married 30th August 2012, can't believe how quick the day is coming round-scary. I'm already having dreams where i forget something major on the day!!

Feel like most things are sorted. Trying to concentrate on the weight loss too-although sometimes chocolate is just too much to resist!!! I'm also after a miracle cure that gives me radiant clear skin.....but still waiting!

One thing we are stuck on at the moment is music/first dance songs. Me and my OH have different tastes in music so this is poving a bit tricky! Any suggestions?

Im def looking forward to a relaxing honeymoon after all the hrad work planning the day

Doing really well so far, four months to go or just under, eep! It's mental!

Nearly all done, need to get OH's suit and my dress needs to be bought, other than that it's mostly just stuff that needs to be paid for and little bits like making up favours that can be done the night before. Getting excited now, it's all I think about!

I have been so busy that I haven't posted on here in ages, and now I can't believe it's four months away! It really has come round so quickly. I still have so much to do, it's very scary. But I do think that 4 months is enough time.... I hope! OH got suit last week, and have dress plus bridesmaid stuff. Getting shoes next, and having hair and make-up trial. Need to also do practical things like finalise centrepieces and hire chair covers! But the big stuff is done, which is a relief : )

We get married on the 18th and i have been stressing since my ticker hit 6 months, OH is keeping me sane tho

It is a scary time. 4 months!!!

We are off to Hong Kong and Fiji. Cannot wait!! Where in Thailand are you going? I went few years ago, loved it. Ideal honeymoon destination.

How are your plans coming along? My bridesmaid dresses arrived today, can't wait to see the girls in them.

Hello Ladies Aug 28th here.

Wow its coming round super fast i'm so stressed about it all. I had knee op on fri and was told i'd be in a brace for about 2 weeks but they have said its more like 6 weeks ☹️

Ive got most of the "big" things sorted like the church, venue, food, flowers, cake. The bridesmaid dresses have been ordered and my mum and sisters are gonna take the kids to try them on etc. We went to look at suits so my OH and his BM are going to get them without me.

Everything else I guess I can do from my bed/settie ? Means my weight loss and trips to the gym are off the table for a while so just have to make sure I dont stuff my face while sat on my bum ?

Has anyone started having the wedding nightmares??

Yes!! My dress is lace, and I keep dreaming I'm going to get my heels caught in it and rip it and fall over!! It's horrible! OH tells me I'm being ridiculous lol!

Oh Yes my Nightmare's have started!!!

Oh yes!! I keep having nightmares of things going wrong or the wedding going ahead on a different day to what its supposed to be on and I am not there! or even worse OH and I turning up to our wedding and no ones there not even the registrar but we still end up having to pay for it!!! lol

Hands up who's stressed !

I'm actually not at all stressed or worried yet , no nightmares etc.

My invites are going out in the next few weeks so will feel more real once they are out.

Hi everyone. I'm 26th August! Pretty sorted I think. Just everything needs pulling together now. Just totally changed my dress over the last week as the one i had bought to diet into was starting to seem rather too unattainable! it was stressing me out so much ive put it on ebay and been out and got another one!! Was a bit upset abouut it all at first but when i tried on the new one and it fits lovely i felt so much better. I really love the new dress too x

Im very stressed not helped by the fact I had a knee op last Fri so am spending my time swinging between being off my face on pain killers or being awake but stuck on my bum not being able to do anything ☹️

Saying that most of the big things are done am just trying not to put any weight on cause ive already got my dress. lol

I keep thinking that everythings fine and ive pretty much got everything sorted, but the more i think about it the more things i find that need doing :-s. But i think all the big things are done and im soooooo excited!!!
