So I've finally decided to bite the bullet and have booked my first dress apointment. I wanted to lose a bit more weight before I went looking but I can wait no longer!!

Also have made the decision to make my own cake! Think im going crazy!!

I am new to hitched and an August 23rd bride. So far we have booked the ceremony and reception venues, registrar, DJ's, TOG, bought my dress, half way through diy'ing centre pieces and invitations. Feeling pretty organised so far! Next jobs are bridesmaid dress, suits, rings and transport.

Can't believe how quickly it's coming around. It'll be here before we know it!!

I was just wondering when are you going to send out your invites? I'm getting married on 31st so I was thinking of sending them out in early May but after talking to someone at work, she seemed to think I should do it sooner!

We're getting ours from the printer in a few weeks and I'll be sending them out soon after that. We've put an RSVP date of 20th April so that we've got time to chase people if we need to and so we can alter the budget if we need to, to reflect the non atendees (if there are any!)

I'm planning on sending mine out on the 1st of May and chasing up from 1st July, I'm worried that everyone will forget if I send them out sooner!

Invites, I have no firm date but April/May time I think so we have replies back in time for final numbers meeting with the venue. I think RSVP by end of June for us should do it.

We are sending out our invites end of April early May, wedding coordinator advised we should have replies back by the end of June for the final meeting.

I am sending mine out next month, with an RSVP date by 9th May. I figured that August is holiday time for many people so I want to make sure they have our date free. We didn't send save the dates. The important friends and family know the date though, that's the main thing I guess.

I think we are aiming to send out invites in April or May, but sent out save the dates to all the day guests a few months ago. Not decided when to put as the RSVP date yet, maybe late June or mid July though?

Sounds like most of you will be sending them out around the same time I had originally planned - early May with an rsvp date of end of June leaving me July to chase people and finalise numbers. Think I'll stick with my original plan! Hope all your plans are coming together!!!

Our invites will be sent mid February and RSVP date is 1st May. We get married on 1st August. ?

Our invites are going out next month with an RSVP of 6th May.

We are 15th August. I'm also getting married on 17th in which my parents are responsible for (Hindu!!)

So far I have booked the venue, make up / hair stylist, the registrar, photographer and the photo booth for the evening. I have also sent off save the dates... 0h yeah we booked the hotel for two nights too.

All of you seem to get ahead in front of me... To be fair, OH proposed to me end of October 2013!!

I really can't wait to get the invitations ready, sort out the flowers and the cake. Well practically everything!! We are still debating on the honeymoon!! Where are you all going?

I haven't asked my sis and her daughters to become my bridesmaids. Will start making nice cards for them soon!

We haven’t booked our honeymoon yet – that’s a job for my OH which is why nothing has been done yet! We’re planning on going away for a few days after the wedding and then having our honeymoon in October/November.

We've booked our honeymoon and now we're over halfway through paying it off.

We've gone through Trailfinders - 3 days in Singapore - 5* breakfast only, 7 days in Tembok, Bali - 5* full board and 4 days in Ubud, Bali - 5* breakfast only. It's 16 days in total due to flying as well.

We booked at the start of 2014 ❤️

Also now confirmed our mobile bar ?, got the double ring box, paper straws, heart umbrella (just incase!) and kids activity set favours.

I've still quite a few things to sort out but I'm not worried about it.

This weekend I'm gettting the design of my invitations sorted and starting on some of the other venue decorations.

I HAVE A DATE TWIN!!! (17th)

Still back and forthing on invite design - my mum decided they weren't 'sophisticated' enough so I came up with another idea. My designer isn't very good at 'getting' things first time though!

Booked our mini moon at Peckforton Castle - we're doing falconry on our last day which will be fun!

Making all my six month appointments for venue and flowers next month - and I pick up my dress and headpiece!

I'm new on here, getting married on Friday 29th August in the Lake District - too excited!! 7 months tomorrow!!

Got quite a bit done already, dress, venue, dj, catering, wedding car, rings, cake...........although I am starting to get stressed with it haha!

Still got a lot to do!!

I am just too excited to wear my dress - I can't see that anyone else has the same one on here though, let me know if you have and what you think!

Our wedding is booked for 29th August I can't wait.

So far we have sorted most of the things we have planned my H2B just need to decide on which suit he prefers (he likes two) and we need to go and sort our wedding cake.

I've even been on mywedding.com and created a Wedding webpage which was fun!

The only thing we are stuck on is the recessional music once we are married, it can't be religious and we don't like older music but want it to be something nice and modern not tacky!!

We've just paid off the registrar, submitted our readings, personalised vows and the songs for my entrance, signing the registrar and also leaving the ceremony.

Decided on my hair and make up this weekend, also decided on my bridesmaids hair and makeup too.

It's all coming together now ?

I'm getting married on the 23rd. Dress for me and daughter is sorted, registry office and restaurant afterwards booked and I'm making a start on the flowers tonight or this weekend - making felt and button bouquet and buttonholes!

Having had a skin breakout this month (damn period...I've had 6 months clear skin and now I look like a bloody join the dots picture!) I went for a skin consultation at L'Occitane tonight and have invested in some new moisturising things. We shall see how this goes...
