Hi, I am an August 2015 bride too we have booked the venue, registrar, photographer and I have bought my tiara So I know I still have loads to do!! I would say your next step is to book a registrar so that you know you have a place and time to get married then your planning will flow from there! My next step is wedding insurance and finding a florist

I am getting married on 15th august 2015, not a bride but a groom lol. We have booked venue, photographer, sorted the cake out. All the entertainment has been sorted (acoustic guitarist, magician, fireworks, Kids face painting) Have sent out save the dates already, and we are getting the invites from the same place. We have also sorted out the reception decorations as well, we are finding it really easy.

Hi! I'm 28 August We've only booked the venue as well, and got some insurance. Planning to blitz it all in the summer though, in between uni terms!

Also, have you guys sent out your Save the Dates yet?

We are getting married the 28.08.2015 as well. Booked Venue, DJ, paid deposit on dress, sorted room decorations and florist. Just need to sort out tog.

Going to sort out bm dresses in the xmas sales as we are having black and ivory, and have more of a chance of getting black dresses in the party season.

Just impatienly waiting till next near so i can get down to the nitty gritty stuff.

We have sent save the dates already, we got scratch card save the dates made, and couldn't wait to send them. Also august is a popular month for holidays and we wanted the important people to have notice.

Haven't sent save the dates yet, but got them planned and will be sent out in August!

Will have a look at your photographer seems like 28/8/15 is a popular day!

Registrar now booked, photographer almost booked... I'm getting there!

Hiya! 28th August seems to be a popular day! We are the 27th August. We've booked the venue, registrar, caterers, venue stylists (they do center pieces, dance floor etc), photographer, videographer, cake, favours, hair & makeup! Feel if quite chuffed with how much I've done so far =) next on my list is my dress and florist!

As already mentione, Daffodil Waves (her name is Nicola) is so lovely and an amazing photographer. We've booked her for our wedding and I'm so excited about her xx

August 27th 2015 here and so excited!!!

We have the venue, registrar, catering, entertainment, photographer, photo booth, dress (decision made, just need to try it on a third time before committing!)

So cracking on nicely. I have decided what flowers id like, so will be looking at these in the next month or so and hopefully ordering. Still need to chose rings and suits etc.

We don't have a venue or a definite date yet but we are definitely getting married in August 2015. Either the 24th or 17th I think.

Who else is getting married in August?

I'm an August Bride! Getting married on 1st August.

Got most of the big stuff done already - I'm generally a very organised person. Next week we're off to see the dressmaker who will be making the BM dresses. We picked the choices for our wedding breakfast last week and I'm looking forward to a taster soon. We also gave notice on Tuesday, every little bit we do starts to make everything so real!

How is everyone else getting on?

Daisy Bell, I just noticed you got engaged a year to the day after us!

We're 23rs August, feels like there's still loads to do but I think we're getting there. Only big things left are flowers and suits.

I think we've got everything booked now apart from hairdressers for my bridemaids and favours! Getting there! When are you all sending out your invites?

Our invited will be going out tomorrow hopefully - that is as long as the colour printer starts working again!

He im an agust bride too also gtting married on the 28th august!! sent out save the dates last year as it being summer didnt want people booking their holidays. have got my dress, flowers photographer, dj, cake flower girls dresses sorted, also my invites. next is BM dresses and suits!! where are you all getting married?
