August honeymoon ideas please

~Curley~, 12 March, 2013 at 14:50 Posted on Honeymoons & Getting Married Abroad 0 2

Hiya Ladies Smiley smile

im getting married August next year and really need help with my honeymoon. i really wanted the caribbean but its wet season at this time of year. Can anyone suggest anywhere. Ideally i would like nice hot weather, somewhere abit different (but dont mind the eu, just not benidorm or somewhere like that lol) would consider self catering or all inclusive. my overall budget would be around £2500. would like a little bit of luxury or something a little special as its my honeymoon. Please help!!!!

Thanks in advance

Wet season in the Caribbean usually means a 15 minute downpour each day, which is warm like a shower, then straight back to sunshine, just go for it! Im going to Jamaica in august and have been in wet season before its honestly not an issue!

I'll try again as my last post never got published!

How about Italy? You have the choice of on the coast and beach in a 5 star or small boutique hotel or inland somewhere like Umbria and Tuscany in a lovely villa or farmhouse in the country or wine region. Depends on what you like to do, laze on a beach, explore the country, visit cities like Florence etc. I think Italy has it all, I just got engaged in Rome in a lovely boutique hotel on the roof terrace overlooking St. Peters.

It's not too long a flight and you can spend more money on your accommodation as you can fly relatively cheaply. It will be hot with very little chance of rain and you can do some lovely shopping if you like that sort of thing.

If you prefer lazing on a beach but want somethig more exotic, Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt is the new Dubai, less touristy than Sharm, Dubai, Arab Emirates, Cape Verde island ....... hope this helps.
