Autumn theme Flash please

We are getting married in October 2014 and so were considering an Autumn theme. Has anybody had or having an Autumn theme?

We want Orange and Purple but I'm not sure how to incorporate the purple yet. I know I have ages but I need to spread the cost. It is going to be a small wedding at a Golf club.

    Not having an autumn theme as such but because of getting married in October, we will have seasonal flowers.

    This is my mood board. The sunflowers have sentimental reasons, so although they're slight out of season, I'm still getting them in there!

    My friend last year had an end of October wedding with an autumn theme.

    Her centre pieces were in pumpkins and we all played conkers after the ceremony

    I love the conkers idea, I might try to incorporate that, maybe a conker tournament while the room is being changed over haha.

    I think a dark purple, like a plum or aubergine kind of colour would be best with orange! I wanted these sorts of colours as I was considering having browney bronzey bridesmaids dresses at first!

    Natalie, those flowers are lovely, I think you might be right about the plums, just need to show h2b as he want's cadbury purple. It's my second marriage and his first so really want him to have what he wants.
