I can't believe it's been a month since our big day!
We had 3 nights away in London, then I've had a very stressful time at work... my opposite has been suspended so i ended up ataying on extra days and training a new crew member to do my job, so that i could get 10 days off! Eeekkkk and not nice.
Back to the big day. I admit I was more stressed out the day before, when we were setting up the venue than on the day itself. I went into silent stress mode, and Aidan coped really well with me.

We had a small problem getting the PA equipment from the supplier, but it got sorted by 16:00 when we had to leave the guildhall. The next time I'd be seeing it would be at the ceremony.
It was back home to get changed and pick up OH's overnight bag for his stay at the hotel with his family and best man. I was meeting my friends at the hotel and going out for a lst supper with best friend from Portugal and York. I left Aidan in his brothers capable hands and tootled off for a nice Italian.
I finally relaxed. We had such a laugh. the restaurant was quiet, and then it ended up just the four of us with the staff at about 930. The innuendos went on all night, the wine was flowing and my nerves disappeared by the time the limoncellos were drunk.
Next morning I woke up at 830 and felt calm, but excited. I had my breakfast with an extra strong coffee, then got ready for my dad to pick me up. Aidan texted to say he'd left his watch at home (no surprise) so I ended up dropping it off at the hotel reception for him.
When I got to my mum's I got my things together in the spare bedroom ready for when Kerry came by. I sent Aidan a text with instructions on where to find his present in the hotel room. I'd done a boudoir shoot and had put messages in the album for him. I didn't think about not having a reply back... maybe he was busy with the friends and family at the hotel.
My hairdresser arrived and got to work with my hair. I must have been laid back, as she asked "are you sure you're getting wed? you're too calm!"
Kerry arrived and produced the long awaited and searched for shoes. The first words to fall from mine and my mums mouth was 'How are you going to walk in them?' They looked like a four inch heel, and Kerry rarely wears anything other than trainers and ballet pumps! 'I'll cling onto whoever is neareast' was the reply.
