Back at work - Today!

Yep. I arrived this morning and was one of 5 people in the office - out of 164!

There's about 10 of us in now, but people are slowly starting to leave...

Our office is a lot smaller than yours. There’s about 40 on my floor. I work in a team of 9 and there’s only 3 of us in!

I just think its pointless being in the office on days like this. None of the field team are working, so it’s not like I am able to arrange interviews and things. So far I’ve just tidied stuff up! Also, my boss has popped in and sits behind me, so it’s not like I can even surf the internet!

What do you do in your role if you don’t mind me asking?

I'm in. London is like a ghost town.

I have (almost) no work to do and the phone has hardly rung so have been faffing about all day.

Hurry up 5:30pm!

I'm in today too- it's been dead. I think my phone has rung once.

Ive been busy designing some training material and doing lots if admin bits too. I've also eaten lots of quality street.

I'm in work today but have tomorrow and Wednesday off so it feels a bit pointless. The main part of my job is telesales to other companies so there is nothing for me to do today.

My desk however is very tidy!! Counting down the minutes to 5.30pm

I worked last Monday, Christmas Eve and the 27th but I have this week off. When I went in on the 27th, there were 4 people in , there's usually about 45. Complete waste of time going in.

It just makes no sense for me to be in work. It would be much better to take it as holiday and close the office. Today I faffed around clearing my inbox out (although it did need an overhaul) I then started looking for bride to be and mother of the bride phone covers online and ways to cut my own fringe without it looking like i'd hacked at it!

i am pleased to report that now I am home and I have successfully chopped my fringe! Was a bit of a mission though! I know I should go to the hairdressers, but it's just so much effort for a quick cut! x

That is rubbish! What do you do? I work for a retail chain, although I'm based in an office, so I understand your pain. A lot of people I speak too only have Christmas Day and half a day on New Years Day!

I'm back in today. Booooo.

My tray is overflowing, I have no milk and I am on phones until 1pm. Oh and my trousers are too tight.

I'm back at work today although being cheeky and working from home. Seriously struggling to get back into things ☹️

Only back today - wish I took an extra 2 days hols - pity I had to use them on my honeymoon this year!

That is rubbish! Especially the trousers and milk part! In fact i don't know which is worse! I don't tend to get through the day unless I have copious amounts of tea!
