Decided i need to seriously start losing weight for the wedding, so back on weight watchers...sigh

Did try slimfast but those wheaty *gag* shakes were not for me *gag*

Last time I did ww I lost a stone and a half - my target 10% - but only kept off 1/2 a stone ? ..... so this time determined to lost a stone and keep that off. I can easily do it, have a year!

I've been on Slimming World since May and have lost just over a stone. It's been a slow but sure loss with which I'm happy with. Dunno how I'd be at keeping a stable weight though once I lose it all!

    Good luck ?

I'm doing Slimming World too, i am making slow progress as well but am happy its coming off. I had my weigh in tonight, I needed to lose a pound and a half to get my first stone certificate, I lost one pound! It was annoying knowing I just need another half pound to get that certificate!! Then 2 more stone to go in the long run!

Good luck to you all, and wishing you all some will power... I wish I had more!?

    xx

im thinking of joining myself. iv just come off the 'heart diet',you can lose up to 10lb in three days but it all depends on if you like beetroot, dry toast black tea/coffee grapefruit ????? you have four days of eating normal ( within reason,,of course!!). i only went on for one week but lost 8lb.........come of it because the above foods are yuk yuk yuk!! its okay if you only need to get rid of a bit of weight or if that last bit wont shift..........

I've lost 4 pounds in 4 weeks which is slow going but to say I've only been watching what I eat and not really exercising I'm quite happy with that. Have joined a gym and been a couple of times and really enjoying it.

I've nabbed some of Rosemary Connely's philosophy - we are eating anything that has less than 3grams of saturated fat. So I'm reading all the labels and avoiding anything with more. Last night we had scampi and chips yum!

Have found that switching from white bread to wholemeal, lower calorie biccies and no wine mon-fri really helps.

Hi - A Fellow Weight Watcher here - just been to class tonight but a little gain this week (due to a lovely weekend away with H2B so worth it) but back on the straight and narrow now with 8 weeks to go.

Ive lost one stone since October and like you have done WW so many times before - I know it works if you stick to your points and write everything down but think Ive been a little bit wayward recently (guesstimating my points and not writing them down at all which doesnt work!!)

Would be happy to lose just half a stone more for the wedding so thats what Im going to go for now.

Im sure you will be able to do that stone in a year - slowly slowly usually keeps it off (its taken me since October to lose the stone).

Good luck - think we can both do it if we put our minds to it!!!!!!!!!!!

Lisa - yea and thats the great thing about WW you can just go off and back on it, thats why I have given myself a year as with holidays and weekends away I do not want to be dieting - let alone xmas! Good luck! :-)

I did WW last year and lost 17 pounds in about 5 months.....then went on holiday stablisised and then since Xmas gradually beein putting on a pound here and there till hols this year where i put on 7 pound and was back up to starting weight last year! This morning went to find a pair of trousers for work and only one pair fitted me out of 5 which were my "fat" trousers.....not anymore they're tight!!

So I knew that this was happening and have signed up to WW online. I am trying to focus counting points but I just can't - will write out a meal plan at the weekend and stick to it this week and make sure I have plenty of healthy food in the cupboards. Joined Gym last week and have been 4 times since last Thursday doing approx 30-40mins cardio and 20-30mins weights as the fitness trainer said and me and h2b are playing squash this weekend. Hoping that this new regime and healthy eating without being too strict will lose some pounds and inches!

I'm going to Vegas in 5 weeks for my 30th bday so taking inspiration from bulging brides and do a 6 week challenge!

I do have over a year to lose weight for wedding but have a dress fitting late Jan/early Feb and have ordered the dress that was too small for me (like bulging brides when there is a good 3 inches still till it can be done up) as motivation for the weight loss!
