Bad, bad Hitcher!!

Hello everyone!

Not sure if many people know who I am but I just wanted to check in and apologise for being such a terrible Hitcher recently. Work has been soooo crazy just recently I havent really had five mins to myself! Been mostly lurking and occasionally posting but need to make an effort to Hitch more especially as the big day seems to be creeping up on us so fast! Ticker is at 8 months and something....yikes!!

Anyway, just thought id let you know where I am with WP. Well......we have designed our cake! It was soo lush, we went to a really cute little shop and she gave us cake and tea and wedding pics (I was in my element) and we basically just sat there for two hours and designed a wedding cake from scratch. Really pleased with what we have decided on and have every faith in the lady we have picked. Erm...thats about it! We have decided to go for a chocolate fountain I think (after much deliberation and some very valued Hitched opinions!) and have got a quote that we are happy with today so gonna go ahead with that. Also think I found a florist that I like but she has asked me not to come in and see her until after Xmas (is this normal??)

Think thats about it on the wedding front. How is everyone else getting on? Whats next on the list?

great to hear from you again - and well done for the cake!!! my kind of priority. not much to update on my side - had 1st fitting for the dress but its only the bottom cotton layer so nothing interesting to see (yet...) had a massive stress over the BM dresses which my sister unknowingly dispersed by finding her dress, which is absolutely perfect. Trying to sory the PC out so can get a move on the invite, etc etc - so lots of beginnings but no major results so far, thats about it!

Hi, I know who you are!!lol

8 months isn't much is it?? I remember being all excited when my ticker said 8 months something and now it says six months something and I've started to panic just ever so slightly!!!

I loved having cake and looking at the hundreds of pics with the lady who's making our cake and it was so much fun combining several ideas! I can't wait to see the real thing... What's yours going to be like? It's so exciting isn't it?

Can't help with the florist thing although I guess if she has a lot of Christmas orders she might have put it off so she can spend more time talking it over with you?

Wedding princess I am seriously disapointed in your hitching of late. As your almost twin I would like to lodge a complaint! lol!

Aww thanks guys! Im glad some people remember me!

Moya...I am officially a bad almost twin and pinky promise to Hitch more from this day forward! Haha. Hows ur plans coming along?? Any recent progress?

Our cake is going to be an ivory and gold, bridal glitter - calla lilly covered extravanganza!! I was sooo excited when we left the shop I just wanted to see it now! We are having a fruit layer on the bottom, vanilla with jam and cream in the middle and lemon for the top tier! The lemon cake was seriously the most amazing thing I have ever tasted!

Oooh and i almost forgot! I have sorted out someone to do my hair too!
