Bad dream! 4 months to go - they are getting more....

Me too!! Haven't had one for months and I have even cooled off the planning lately as most is sorted.

My reception was now at my mums house. All evening guests thought it would be funny to turn up in white jeans and white tops ... That's the ones who did turn up, over 70 guests didn't. Some guests ignored me because they weren't invited to the day. Then some of my OHs friends thought it was a good idea to open all our cards and cut them up to make funny shapes and to top it all off, I asked my sister if she had remembered to film the wedding and she just cried saying she left the camera at home.

Woke up feeling sick so now I think I'll do some more planning / sorting today.

I have them too ☹️ I've got just under 3 months to go so at the min they're all about the preparation stage, always dream that no one turns up to do my hair and make up, or that I forgot to book anyone. I'm imagining they'll start being about the actual wedding as we get nearer though! Horrible, but it just shows you're excited and want everything to go well.

I keep waking around 4 am and then start thinking wedding thoughts and cannot get back to sleep ............

Yeah I think the stress plays a big part of the nightmares. Have you been looking at those stuff to finish off? I feel every time I am anxious about something that hasn't been decided yet a nightmare will pop up, is not pleasant at all but I think part of the experience.

Hopefully you will get better soon and the nightmares will stop!

I had one last night too! And Im also only 4 months away.

It was the big day, and my dress hadn't been altered so didnt fit properly, I hadn't booked any transport so I turned up in my dads beaten up old estate car, covered in dog hair, and I hadn't ordered any flowers!

I think its because I've recently realised how much I have left to do, in so little time. According to the wedding planning app on my phone I've only completed 21% of everything overall ?

Thats quite the nightmare. I had a zombie dream, group got split-up, we broke into an abandoned military facility and stole a helicopter. the other other group found a scientist who could crack the outbreak ... er so nothing wedding related. actually it was kinda cool and action packed!

anyway!

I have 3 months left to go and only had a few minor wedding dreams, nothing epic as yours. you just need to relax and find a side project or a hobby to take you mind off it.

We suppliers get them too......?

Okay that app sounds like the devil. I'd delete it. everything comes together in the last few weeks so its gonna say that for a while! also everyone has different ideals to a wedding too, you should see how many thing are apparently overdue on my hitched to do list!

Iv had nightmares for 2 nights this week - mainly about hair and make up artists not turning up and having to put my dress on myself which was impossible. Then last night I was awake from 2-4 thinking about everything that could go wrong!!!

only 5 months left *sigh*

Wedding nightmares are horrible.

I've had 3 in the last 2 nights - 2 in one night is a record even for me!

Last night I started walking down the isle and then realised my dad wasn't with me. I turn and ran back into the foyer where my dad was standing without any trousers on trying to do up his cravat. It sounds funny now but last night it wasn't!

I've also had my dress not being done up and my bum being on show, my MOH turning up so late that she had to wear her normal clothes, us booking our honeymoon to Canada (where I have been loads) with my MOH coming along to & the registrar telling me that she had to marry us in ten minutes - which was a day before the wedding was meant to be.

I never thought i'd be having nightmares like this with 5 months still to go.

7 months to go. The other night I dreamt that OH's ex-wife turned up on the wedding day to provide genuine help, and she was lovely. I woke up in cold sweats.

What's strange is I'm generally pretty chilled at the moment ... But when I go to sleep it's wedding hell ! Seems the norm with this long to go though ? X

The same happens to me too and I've got over 7 months left! My latest one had guests turning up in ridiculous dresses (including men....which was a bit weird...) and one girl who is the girlfriend of my brother in law to be (who has horses) arrived with her hair like a horses tail/mane/hair whatever with about 50 bobbles at the end of the plait. I think I'm worrying about just about everything....
