Band/Live Music - East Midlands area - help needed!

I came across these at a wedding I shot a few weeks ago at Brooksby Hall in Leicester that I think will fit well for you.They are called time machine.

My Dad's band are a proper retro rock & roll band if you like that kind of thing, they went down well at our wedding. Memphis Blue on Facebook :-)

We found our band from here on Hitched. They were like a proper band that didn't look cheesy or old lol!

I recommend them loads!!! They were just amazing at our wedding! We've already booked them for our 5 year anniversary party!

Hi, i can recommend a band called Freddie - they are based in Nottingham but travel and you can find them on facebook. Their lead singer is formally trained and has an amazing voice. They are a very talented bunch and play a really broad spectrum of songs.

We have booked Phil Rostance and the Marshall Band for our wedding - we researched A LOT and they were by far the best ones we came across. They're based in Pappelwick in Nottingham. Another one was The Warning Tones near Worksop, they came a very close second!

Hi Leigh,

There are lots of bands out there and choosing one can be blinding/confusing/overloading.

Look at setlists of bands and see if they play a wide range of songs and can they play them accurately. Then ask if they will learn songs for you (first dance etc), What else do they supply and most of all have they got live footage on their websites.

Ask around for recommendations or check sites like here on Hitched. It was really nice of Sarah above to recommend us and everyone had a great time at her wedding.

Make sure they supply contracts etc and check that they have full public liability insurance and are PAT tested.

The Spectrum

The suits mentioned above actually came all the way down to south west Dorset for my wedding a month ago and they were absolutely fantastic!!the dance floor was packed all night long,they played a massive variety of songs and were just awesome!!! Everybody raved about them.
