Does anyone have any experience in staying in any of these Bangkok hotels? Landmark, Amari Boulevard or Baiyoke Sky?

Thanks

I stayed in the Landmark three years ago. it was lovey, really fantastic views, gorgeous suite, amazing pools and the best bit was the food- i could have eaten the breakfast all day, and they have the best cake and chocoltae bakery/shop within the hotel. we didn't try any of the restaurants as although not expensive, it is obviosuly much cheaper to eat in the city restaurants/stalls. i think a lot of the superior hotels are the same in terms of decadence and you won't be disappointed whichever one you stay in.

Brill, thanks, I'm loving the sound of the bakery shop within the hotel!

We had some cakes in our room with the exotic fruit bowl and champagne when we arrived, they were gorgeous. We then found the place on a wander around the hotel and they cost the equivalent of 30p and they are on a par with the french patisserie completely overblown gourmet things you see with all sorts of fancy decoration, glazes etc. didn't try the handmade chocolates, but wished we had.

You'll have to excuse me but i've just realised i've been a numpty as it was the Peninsula hotel i stayed in. i just went into the Landmark fro a nosy as it was one we had considered but opted out of. it does look nice from the lobby though! in which case, i can definitely receommend the Peninsula if you haven't already considered it!

I stayed in the Landmark a few years back, it was very nice. Decent rooms, we had a junior suite or seomthing like that. Good views, nice outside pool, decent shops and bakery inside and good location.

    Id def reccommend it

We've stayed in the Landmark too. It was a superb hotel I'd strongly recommend it.

I went past the Amari last year and didn't think it looked as nice as it did online. The Landmark was in a good location and looked good. We stayed at the Banyan Tree which was absolutely amazing. Even if you don't stay there, you must go for drinks in the Moon Bar at the top - 60 floors up, open air, fab views and great atmosphere.
