Bargain foundation?

*Mini*, 8 March, 2014 at 08:24 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 13

Does anyone have any recommendations for a cheap and cheerful foundation to see me through to payday? I normally use double wear but I am feeling less than flush at the moment.

Ideally under £10 and will make me look like a supermodel. Can anyone help?

I've heard good things about Rimmel Wake me Up foundation.

That Zoella chick seems to like it.

I swear by maybelline satin. Only £8. Just suits my skin.

I wear max factor colour adapt I think it is. I'm pretty sure that is £10. I grudge even that tbh as I don't wear it very often!

I use Max Factor All Day Flawless, but I think that might be £12...? So much depends on what your skin's like and what coverage you need etc.

Another vote for max factor adapt, it's normally my go to when I can't afford double wear.

My current favourite thing ever is this stuff. not a foundation but goes on so lovely and light and has a really natural finish, perfect for the day time. I also love the Maybelline Dream Foundation if I want something with more coverage. I have bought more expensive stuff and I never rate it tbh. The Mac Studio Fix was like wearing old fashioned pan stick.

I love my BB cream, I use Maybelline. I hate the feel of foundation on my face and I find the BB cream gives me a nice even glow and light coverage.

    Sorry that's not much help!

I do have a bare minerals set too which is lovely for when I go out, not sure how much it is though?

Thanks ladies. I need full coverage so bb cream and the like is no good for me. I will try and get to SuperDrug on a lunch break and see what they have. I'm out of my Mac eyeliner as well. I've spent all of my disposable income on prosecco this month so it's cheap make up for me. Boooo

If you know the make and colour you want, try fragrance direct.com - you can get some real bargains there.

I've just starting using Rimmel Stay Matte (first time I've ever used a 'drug store' foundation) and I'm really impressed. Just as good as my Benefit foundation but £20 cheaper.
