Bargain hen do... now for a theme!

jubileebride, 9 August, 2011 at 21:06 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hello

Well I have found my hen doo today, 1 night in Leeds 3* B&B and a cocktail master class only £56pp! What a bargain.

Now can you give me some inspiration on a theme?

Thanks

    Hi there

I did cocktail masterclass in Newcastle and it was awesome. I didn't have a theme but we considered having an 80's theme (linked to the film Cocktail) or a Jamaican Theme (also Cocktail but our honeymoon venue too).

I still love the idea of an 80's theme, wish I had done it, but my Hens would not have all got into it

I've just come back form my bf hen do - we had 4 days in bristol and it was great!!

pole dancing lessons are an absolute ball - great for people of all ages

get yourself on the guest list in some clubs

our 'theme' was something related to the bride - she loved rainbow brite as a kid so we got tshirts printed and wore stripy socks.

i saw other hen do's do - fancy dress with a theme eg. alice in wonderland characters. football team with shirts printed, burlesque theme etc

    hope that helps!

Why does there have to be a 'theme'? I would have thought cocktails was enough of a theme on it's own. What will you be doing with the hours you're not making cocktails?

I had an 80s theme for mine. It was awesome as everyone could spend as little or as much as they wanted on the outfits and it can be interpreted in lots of ways! Bad make up and crimping all round!
