I've just glanced at my ticker and it scared me...lolol.
Question; How long should you leave it before returning a business fone call??? I was told ''I'll fone you back'' at 945am..... its 11am now and ive had no fone call.....
but yesterday I asked her if she wanted to go to a town nearby with me. She said no because she had no money, etc. Then she phoned me today and not only was she in the town but in the shop I wanted to go to. It really upset me. Apart from you lovely people I don't see or speak to anyone all day from when I drop D off to when I pick him up. All my friends work. I am desperate for a job during the day and can't seem to get one. It just hurts my feelings that she doesn't want to spend time with me. I never get to see my nieces anymore either. We used to be so close, she's my MOH, but now.....
Sorry I really don't want to be so depressing and I never normally cry but this has upset me. I'm sure I'll be fine in a minute and back to myself.
No it wasn't that kind of shop. I wanted to go and get her youngests Christmas present there.
It's just the icing on the cake I think. I see her at the school everyday and ask her if she wants to come round for a cuppa. She never does. And everyday her kids ask to come to my house and she always says no to that too.
Mmmm Tadah could have a point. Did she tell you why she was there after she said no to you? - seems odd that she would mention it after not going with you. Is this an isolated incident or have there been a number and this was the final straw? Can you talk to her about things - maybe she is unaware of things?
Sorry for the 20 questions. Another box of tissues needed yet?
No I'm ok now thanks. I've been talking to my Dad about it, he rang me and knew I was upset, and his words were "You know how selfish she is and she just doesn't realise she's hurting peoples feelings."
She already bought my present last week when my Daughter was with her. I guess she just had a better offer from someone else!?! I think it must have caught me at a weak moment.
I'll see if she mentions it when I see her this afternoon at school. Her and her family are round our house for Christmas so I'll end up letting it go, again, if she doesn't say anything because it'll cause an atmosphere otherwise.
Well I suppose at least you know its not just you, if your Dad is saying she is selfish too. I know that doesn't make it any easier though. Just wondering if you stopped making all the effort would she pull her finger out and make a bit of effort.
Oh dear ash, thats crappy. Dont have a sister but have had friends do that to me and it is a bit crap.... must make you think about your decision to have her as MOH......big huggles to ya...
mine is just the same ole flat selling nonsense. Yesterday was supposed to be attempt number 2 at finalising the deal and I jumped on the train and went through to where my flat is and where my solicitor is. For 2 weeks I have been waiting for an official letter confirming I paid a council bill in 2005. I called them again today and the nice chappy who was dealing with it managed to email me a 'letter' confirming I had paid the bill. I sent it to my solicitor and she wrote back saying it wasnt really ideal as it doesnt refer back to the work in detail!!! This pooooooor couple are desperate to move into their new flat and Im desperate for my money!!! Ive had to write back and ask for more details etc etc etc.... I'm living up to my drama queen title but this is sooooo frustrating. I will be met with hold ups due to holidays and I NEEEEED the money NOWWWW....
Mmm then I guess you just have to accept her for how she is and try to not let it bother you too much. I have a friend who is absolutely crap at keeping in touch, always busy etc. but thats just how she is!
They were probably hoping to be in for Christmas?! Hopefully it'll get sorted soon. Must be frustrating though because it sounds like there isn't much you yourself can do!
Was it the next four chocolates or four you'd not had?? You do know it's supposed to be a countdown.
I need a LARGE glass of wine white please. who'd have thought the week before Christmas we would be so busy at work, only just had 5 minutes to come and hitch. Roll on 5 o'clock my auntie is coming for tea tonight so I can see us getting through a few bottles of wine tonight.
