Baskets of flip flops?

Pink Han-bag, 1 September, 2012 at 09:21 Posted on Planning 0 7

Those that did, or are planning, baskets of flip flops for the evening, how many did you buy?

We have about 30 ladies in the day, quite a few Mum's, aunts etc who won't be interested and then maybe another 20 or so coming at night. What would you go for?

My flip-flops were worn by old and young alike - in fact, I suspect it was skewed towards aunties etc, with younger girls more keen to keep glam shoes on! For (I think) 30 ladies (day and night) I had 10 pairs, 3 size 7-8, 4 size 5-6, 3 size 3-4. They all went so possibly more needed. With hindsight, would have gone for 15 pairs, they were only £1 each and 1 pair for every second girl sounds alright....

Mine's a winter wedding and I was thinking of doing this, although i'm not so sure as I assume alot of the ladies will be wearing tights.

Can anyone suggest an alternative? (Something that won't break the bank!), or do you think I should stick to flip flops??

When I was looking at flip flops in the primary sale they had ballet pumps for £1 -£2, might be good for a winter wedding?
