Beach honeymoon in Italy - any tips?

We are looking at Italy but Lake Como, have you been Italy before? We haven't and sounds romantic I think x x

I've been to Rome for the weekend with family, and I visited a friend in Turin many years ago, but there are so many more places I want to go in Italy!

I heard that Lake Como is beautiful, that sounds like a good choice. What time of year are you going? We're going in August, which is why we want a beach & pool holiday (we also like the idea of lazing around after the wedding!) I asked my friends on Facebook and a couple of people said Cinque Terre is lovely, so I've been looking at hotels there.

Honeymoon planning definitely helps the January blues, doesn't it?! ?

We get married 31st May so early June to go and we have always wanted go Italy together and mexico but my partners been mexico so he said let's do Italy for honeymoon and mexico on 1st anniversary! We both love our sun holidays though and I'm a little worried it won't feel like a honeymoon cos we probably won't relax much! My other half leaving most wedding plans to me and letting me have what I want so I guess he can pick honeymoon are you getting married this year?? X

Yes we are, on 3rd August - scary and exciting to say it's this year!

I think Italy is super romantic and it'll definitely feel like a honeymoon whatever you do ?

Sorry I hadn't seen the countdown thing you had!! I'm not until 2014 (I keep saying the year but I can say next year now) so just looking as can't book yet but Italy does sound romantic for a honeymoon x x
