Beautiful shoes - flash of shoes and dress added :)

robertson2b, 8 November, 2010 at 18:07 Posted on Planning 0 20

Hi all

My wedding shoes have been delivered and I love them so I thought I would share them with you. My dress has a flower on the hip and lace in certain areas so I'm really pleased with them and they are a bargain. They seem comfortable but I'm thinking I may also have to get a nice pair of flats for the evening Smiley smile

Can't believe how organised I am right now - how are all the other August brides getting on?

Rachael xx

Thank you all. They are from Dolcis but I got them on the barratts website. £45 which I think is a bargain. I think the platform makes the shoe quite comfortable x

Well if you insist! I really hope the shoes will go well with the dress. The dress that I have on in this photo is 2 sizes too big so it looks a bit funny on the top half! Will take the photo down shortly just incase my partner decides to snoop x

I'm another August bride too - doing well in the planning now too, although reaching a bit of a "Can't be bothered" lul at the moment.!

The heels are 4 inches I think and yes the dress is Ellis 11032 Smiley smile

I guess this is probably the point where must people turn a bit quiet with their planning as most the big things are sorted. August does feel like ages away but I'm sure it will creep up on us quickly!!

Haha I tried it on, it was in my final 3 but in the end went for a maggie! Its stunning, so pretty & your shoes are gorgeous. Did you try your shoes on with your dress or just bought them & assuming they'll match? My dress wont be in till March but Ive seen shoes I like and am considering just going for them & crossing my fingers!

I haven't tried the shoes on with the dress - I'm just risking it! I can't imagine the shoes not matching at all and to be fair you probably won't even see much of the shoe anyway under the dress.

My dress arrives in the shop in February, can't wait to try it on - hoping I still love it.

Which Maggie dress did you go for?

Mmmm thats a fair point...i mite just order them! They are : http://www.girlsofelegance.co.uk/

I dont want anything more than 3 inches and wanted a closed toe so i can paint my nails to match my bridesmaids....and i like the sturdy strap Smiley smile

My maggie dress is called Tiffany, new for Fall 2010 Smiley smile

I look at it everyday on the internet! Sometimes I get wobbles but I just keep telling myself 'remember how it made you feel when you tried it on' Smiley smile
