Hi Guys,

I am getting married on 17th December In Hertford then reception in Ware I cant believe there is under 6 months to go and I have been engaged for over 1 year. I think that I am being really organised but quick question for anyone that has been married in Church, What happens now do I contact them or do they contact me re all arrangements and music and readings we have choosen etc. btw We have been going to church on monthly services but our vicar has been on sabbatical for a few months she should be back now we thought but was not there Sunday any advice appreciated?? xx

Hi King George! You're my date twin! I'm also getting married in a church (though methodist, not C of E) and we have a meeting with the Vicar scheduled for August 14th to start going through details etc.

Hi!!!!! I was wondering where you'd disappeared as initially you were the nearest I had to a date twin!!!

Although i am getting married in a civil ceremony, my first marriage took place in Church (COE). We had appointments booked with the vicar regularly and he told us when to contact him next and by when to submit music requests etc. So if he hasn't by now, I would contact the vicar and make the first step myself to clarify. He may be waiting for you and you may be waiting for him and no one ends up making the arrangements LOL!

Hi there! How are your plans coming along? I feel it's all coming together nicely for us now though no doubt I'll be stressed again in a couple of weeks!
