BERKETEX BRIDE SALE

I went to it last month,to the one in birmingham.It also said from £99 but there wasnt any,most started at £300.And also there mainly size 14 and so you would end up spendin £200 on alterations.I dont think it would be wierd i mean you good just have a look on your own and then just rely on the assisstants opinion.

I'm going - don't think I want a berketex dress but just to get and idea of styles for a bit of fun - you should go!

I haven't bothered to go to look for sale dresses, despite visiting Berketex twice in the last week.

I've fallen in love with their Sandra dress, but it's much too expensive. So you'd think - Sale - yay. But sadly not.

They've confirmed that dress will never be in the sale, and none of their sale rail items will be in my size (curvy 16).

So it's a bit of a non-starter at Berketex sadly. ☹️

I have a berketex wedding dress that I bought 'sold as seen' from the Portsmouth branch. It's very nice and a family friend will be able to do the alterations (which wont be too many as it's a size 12). I just knew it was the one when I saw it.

I went Saturday and wasn't impressed - all the sale dresses seemed a bit grubby and had tears etc - non of the sizes were correct - I'm a stock standard 14 but 2 didn't come near me! Unfortunatly I also had a terrible sales lady, I wouldn't have bought anything from her - not that there was anything decent to be had - they seemed to want to get you in with the word sale then sell you a full priced dress with a little discount.

You'd have to get really lucky to grab a bargain - there was one lovely silk dress under half price but it was teeeny!

I went once. They advertise that its £99 and then you see the dresses but none of them are cheap and there are a few grubby, torn ones. Its just a way of getting you into their shop.

Our shop up here is okay, none of the dresses are dirty or torn. They did have a few bigger sizes too. I find their dresses okay, i am a 12 and fit in their size 12s, maybe depends on the designer? But agree no dresses really under 400 quid in the sale.

I got my first wedding dress from Berketex and I'd never buy from them again!

They made me order a dress 2 sizes too big in case I put weight on, then screwed up altering it to fit so had to order one in a smaller standard size which still needed altering and they messed up again but made it look alright. By the time I got married I hated the dress and didn't feel beautiful in at at any of the fittings, I should have seen that as an omen and not got married.

I went in for the sales they had a while back and ended up getting a £1299 dress.. Not very many dresses on the sales rack..all torn and dirty..so in the end u have to order a new dress at the store price...but with maybe a 20% discount for getting it during the sales period..

I'm kinda gutted that people have had bad experiences with berketex. My dress was £500 in the sale and is sound in terms of the stitching. We want to add more detail, but that is to make it more unique. The only thing noticeable (me and my Mum did a full inspection of the dress before committing) was that the underside of the train is a bit grubby, but Berketex send the dress away to be dry cleaned for free as part of the purchase.

I don't want anyone to be put off.

I got my dress on saturday from berketex in there sale but not off the sale rack like yous are talkin about

i was told my dress (beth) would not go in to the sale either but i think she means the sale rack i got 25% off so came in at just under 1000 from 1299 which was in my budget

it was ordered in, in my size and couler ect

they were lovley and helpful and made me feel at ease

i would defanitly recomend them
