Berketex Bride Sale

I'm going to my local one on Sunday. Will be interested to see what people say on here.

I've booked in for Sunday, but didn't know it was Berketex until I saw your post, and I didn't know the location until I got the tickets, and it's not very convenient (I found it on theweddingsale website). Hopefully I'll be able to get there though. Fingers crossed for success for us all!

I went when I was dress shopping, didn't find anything I loved but it's always worth a look.

I went to one a few weeks ago in Newcastle. They had a really big collection of sale dresses, but I only found a couple that I liked. Apparently their main designer sizes very small so although in another shop I would have needed a 12 taken in a bit I need a 16 in some of the Berketex dresses. I have been warned to not accept their alterations, as they are really expensive. Back there this Sunday, but through weddingsale.com, so hopefully they'll have lots of different dresses in.

I got my dress at a third of the original price in the Berketex Sale and had a dress maker do the alterations cheaper than in store and she did my petticoat cheaper too.

I went without an appointment as was just browsing and it wasn't busy so I tried 10+ dresses to get an idea of what I wanted.

This happened to me! I ordered the tickets on theweddingsale website and forgot about it but didn't know it was Berketex. I got a random call yesterday from a woman going 'you booked an appointment with us at Berketex on monday' and I had absolutely no clue what she was going on about! I thought I'd gone mad and started booking appointments in my sleep or something!!

I bought my dress from the sale today! Will post a pic when I'm not on my phone. I'm so glad I went as I got it half price so I'm really happy!!!
