Just seen a lovely bridesmaid dress on berketex brides but how are you meant to know how much they are?

My dress from there was about £1000 but I know they vary greatly from around £750 to £1700. Best bet is probably to call unless you want to tell us the designer and style in case anyone has brought it?

I bought my dress from berketex brides it was £1250 and I got £250 off, they do a lot of offers like £250 off or 25% etc....

Theyre website doesn't quote prices, you would be best to make an app and try it on etc. what I would say is they go for the hard sale though.

I agree with you there Looneysh. I went to the National Wedding Show in Birmingham a few years ago, and was sat having a cup of coffee opposite the Berketex stand and this girl came out in a gorgeous dress (and she did look stunning) but they really pushed this girl to buy the dress, saying that it was supposed to be £2500 but they could reduce it to £2250 if she brought it today, and if she paid in full they could discount it down (as a one off as they don't normally do this) to £1995, just because she looked so beautiful, and she would never find another dress that was so amazing and would make her look so good. . We finished our coffee and walked away after a few minutes and they were still trying to convince her to buy it there any then. Grrr to the hard sell.

I tried on a Berketex dress at the National Wedding Show in Earls Court but I think the sales assistant gave up on the hard sell when she asked me if I was pregnant... I wasn't.

Why does anyone EVER ask this question unless it is ABUNDANTLY obvious? It never fails to amaze me...

If you have to ask someone if they are pregnant, it's not worth the risk IMO as you obviously aren't sure, but maybe I'm just bitter!

I get asked this all the time - I have coeliac so my stomach swells frequently - it has it's advantages like when people offer me their seats lol - annoying if I'm in the pub and people whisper (or shout) that I shouldn't be drinkin.

That must be annoying Manda, people can be so judgemental. I have IBS so I get bloated. Sorry for having completely hijacked this thread!

    I'm sorry 2 :-)

Yeah it's very annoying. Although in their defence I do grow quite large. I can increase 8" in a matter of seconds

I've bought a dress with lace up back so when I swell it can be loosened and won't be too tight - I always wear jeans a size bigger with a belt so I can make room.
