Berketex Wedding Dress

Tricia_gla, 6 March, 2010 at 19:13 Posted on Planning 0

Hi, I paid for my daughter in law - to be's wedding dress at the SSEC 's recent show in Glasgow £1500 (at the Bath, Berketex stand) and inorder to get the 20% discount on offer paid for the dress, hoop and the atlerations at the show. Has any one heard of being charged more when you go for your fitting due to' the dress as the show being longer than the one which will be bought ' therefore they will need t lengthen it so a further £65 is required? I am concerned a I thought when i paid at the show £190 for alterations it would have taken into consideration all alterations? Am I being naieve in thinking if you try a dress on and it fits, is the correct length when tried on that that would be the length of the dress you would be buying?

Please someone tell me if any of youhave experienced the same problem and how you sorted it, if you did.

Many thanks for readingmy ramblings, and Happy weddings all.

Tricia
