best pro fake tan

Home fake tan doesn't seem to work on me- perhaps I don't put enough on- so I'm thinking of trying a professional one. What do you recommend?

Home fake tan never works on me either so now I get spray tans done when I want a tan for special occasions etc. It's one where you get sprayed by a person instead of in a booth to ensure even coverage, and I've always been really pleased with it. I don't tan naturally but it looks like a very natural colour, when I have it people always ask where I've been on hol! It's called Hollywood something...sorry, the piece of paper is downstairs. I'll look it up properly in a bit!

I've been wondering this as well.

Also, if you wanted the colour to be at it's best on a Saturday, when would you have the tan done?

OK, not Hollywood anything at all, it's called Naturasun.

For a Saturday I would probably have it done on Thursday evening. Basically it's best to have it in an evening because you really need to go home and take all your clothes off while it dries! No showering etc for at least 8 hours. I tend to shower just before I get it done, then not shower again until the following evening, so on the Friday it is quite dark and can come off on clothes. Once I've showered it doesn't come off at all. You have to have quite quick showers (no baths) and pat yourself dry, then moisturise daily to keep it up. If I follow everything properly then it easily lasts for a week although starts to fade on about the 3rd or 4th day. As I've had more I've found I've become better at making them last.

Oh, and the day before the tan you have to do any hair removal you want to, exfoliate and moisturise really thoroughly. Plus you need to put nail polish (clear is fine) on finger and toe nails.

Sounds like a lot of hassle but I do really like them - I was very sceptical before but am a convert now!

I've found the best one to be a St Tropez lotion one. It's lasted ages and you get to retain your dignity a bit more than with a spray tan!

Thanks very much for that. I take it you have to be naked apart from the paper knickers?

Where I go, you can also wear (your own) bikini top if you like, although I don't because I don't want the tan lines. Also, you don't have to wear the paper knickers, you can just wear an old pair of your own which would give a bit more coverage!

Personally it doesn't really bother me, she obviously sees it a lot and she's really lovely...plus concentrating so hard on what she's doing I don't really feel like she's looking iyswim! (And I am not very confident about my body generally, but going for the spray tan really doesn't bother me at all).

I'm not very confident about my body either but I'll grin and bear it.

Thanks so much for all the information ?
