Big pants

Hugo Brambles, 25 July, 2009 at 08:41 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 10

I've just bought my first ever 'low rise shorts' and what looked incredibly nice on the lovely M&S model just look like great big fat pants on me ?

Are low rise boy shorts actually just big pants in disguise? I know they are low rise so don't come right up but they still feel like big pants. [laugh

I always wear low rise boy shorts, I love them and don't consider them 'big pants' at all. They're so comfy, and I think they look pretty good too. I've worn them for years!*

    *not the same pair, obviously!

They are indeed the ultimate comfortable pant. I love mine, wore 'em all the way through pregnancy without having to move up a size or resort to those hideous granny pants that folks on BT talk about.

I love low-rise boy shorts- it's pretty much all I wear. They're slightly lower than usual now due to a 9 month bump but they're still really comfy. Maybe you need a smaller size?

Ooh what a lovely thought - maybe I do!!

I will stick with them, they are comfy. I think its the fact that I'm used to the bikini ones that have a much thinner side bit (attaching front to back).

I sometimes wear this style and had the same thought when I first tried them. Turns out I was just pulling them up too high. I wear mine so they sit on the hips and cut across my thighs - hope that makes sense. I have a tummy so will never look like the size 10 plastic dummies in the shop that they're modelled on.

I also own what I call my Bridget Jones pants - only 2 pairs to wear under dresses when I want to 'suck it in' - these are not overly comfortable and look hideous by my, they do the job!

I have bridget jones pants which i wear all the time.

I also have a big comfy sick cardigan which i wear with my big pants when i'm poorly.

and my fluffy socks, then i feel all wintery and comfy cosy.

Lol.........comfy cosy - me and my OH say that all the time - we get home from work and get into our comfy cosies (sometimes joggers and sometimes pyjamas - we love it)

I have an oversized sweatshirt and bed socks that I throw on when I'm cold or feeling pants.

Bet everyone has something like that but few will admit it!!
