Big shout out to Secrets Maroma Mexico

I've been a bit of a lurker on hitched before and after our wedding, but just want to add that we also stayed at Secrets Maroma, and it was absolutely amazing. Would definitley recomend to anyone for their honeymoon. Everything was brilling and you were treated like royalty!

When did you go?

I am DESPERATE to go back but would prob need to remortgage my house to afford it!! I was just blown away by everything there!!!

I'm also very curious to try the other Secrets hotels in the Carribean!

Did you have the bartender Rueben at any point? He was our favourite and was so helpful!

Tell me about it! We so want to go back! But like you say we'd need another mortgage. I did look it up for next year but the price seems to have really gone up.

I agree would love to see what their other resorts are like in the carribean!

We were there second week in April for two weeks...Our favourite was Miguel who was around the pool & the hot tubs plus the Palafito beach beds..

He got us so drunk with bringing drinks over without us asking for them! Or we'd ask for a Coke to try an soba up an he'd bring another cocktail!! Fun times!

I think we'll defo try and go back, I really do think it was worth every penny! We went with Kuoni and I compared them to Thomsons, Virgin & Trailfinders and they were about £500 cheaper with free access to the exec lounge in Gatwick too...

Maybe for our 5th anniversary if we start saving now...LOL! It's about £83 a month for 5 years if you save that way...Although that doesnt include the price increase ha!

Ah i do remember Miguel he served us for a couple of nights, he made me up cocktails that werent on the menu. I like your way of thinking £83 a month! I'm hoping for a lottery wine so i can go a bit sooner!

I'm going in July, am soooo excited!! We are going to New York for 3 nights, then Secrets Maroma for 10 nights - seriously cant wait for our honeymoon ?
