Bird cages needed!!!

lindsayj89, 30 April, 2012 at 14:34 Posted on Planning 0 18

Hello, my wedding has a bit of a vintage/shabby chic style to it and i want little bird cages on the top table to put candles or flowers in, does anyone know of anyone that hires these out or sells them for a low price?

Thank you for your help

Lindsay xx?

I found big and little ones in wilkinsons the other day, they were gorgeous.

I have bought some medium size hanging ones from Dunelms website straight to my door

    Hope this helps

I saw some in store twenty one, small ones in lilac and cream, large ones in white, very reasonable prices. They also had bunting for £2.99 for 3 meters - had it matched my theme I would have bought them all!

I've got 6 that I would be willing to sell on after my wedding in October, if you're prepared to wait until then.

    They were from Wilkinsons.

They're lovely, especially for the price (I've seen similar being sold on wedding sites for in excess of £25 each!). The only thing to watch with them is that the tops get *very* hot once you've had a candle in them for a little while - but we are only using them for little alcove type windows in the church, so nobody should be touching them. I perhaps wouldn't use them for table decoration though, especially if there's kids there with curious fingers. xx
